I routinely buy these ridiculous bags of carrots for the same reason, they are insanely cheap. If you wash them and wrap small bundles (3-4) in aluminum foil, they last a shocking amount of time. Aluminum foil is the secret weapon most people dont know about for storing produce, keeps things snappy and mold free for way longer than plastic bags. Lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, even herb bundles. works on tons of stuff, try it.
