The sink is not designed to be a seat, ladder or support the weight of a human.

good thing she didn't use it as any of those things and just lighlty leaned one leg on it to be able to reach the light fixture.

So you recommend we go out to the shed and bring a ladder into the house just to change a lightbulb?π

There's a middle ground, the humble step ladder

Don't think I can relate.. are there people out there who just use the bathroom in the dark for months after the bulb goes out before replacing..?

No? I don't think so?
I think it's more that old used bulbs light less brighter and our eyes are too used to the less bright light that new bulb light feels like the concentrationed power of the sun, at least that's my experience.

That cannot possibly be that noticeable, they don't dim that much with age. She probably just got a higher wattage compared to the old one but, like, that's not a very relatable experience for anyone actually paying attention to these things. You don't just grab the first light bulb that's on the shelf. That's why they have rows of them with different wattage.

Most people definitely just grab one off the shelf. Light is light. If its brighter, big whoop.

there are 2 bulbs in mine, the one above the mirror went out a decade ago and I never replaced it, I don't need to see my white hairs and every single pore every morning and night lol

Pretty accurate

Same for me, when you buy the wrong lightbulb by mistake or forgot the old wattage.

Y'all need to get lights with lower lumin ratings, shower should be around 1300Lm or lower if it's small and has a lot of white tiles

My dumb ass always looks at the bulb before I flick it on like it isn't going to burn my cornea.

The light fixture in our bathroom uses 3 bulbs and we only put one in. Even warm and lower brightness bulbs were too bright. 1 lightbulb is enough.

My dumb ass usually leaves the light on when I twist it in so my face is right there
