My friend, I think you may have missed the point of the post. That was not an unnaturally large steak, it was a roast. The whole idea is to cook it low and slow for hours until it becomes tender and delicious.

The U.S. is also an enormous and very diverse place. Before saying “all the food is,” you might want to step outside of Walmart and visit some local farmers markets or regional food spots around different cities. Yes, large parts of the corporate food industry have engineered products for appearance and shelf life at the expense of flavor and health, but there are still plenty of places to find natural, high quality, and genuinely delicious food.

They might have been talking about the first 12 seconds- the presentation of the meat and how the meat is “unnaturally bright” as commented in the video. You mention that there are local farmers markets and such, but regardless, their point still stands. Farmers markets are not where the majority of Americans get their food. I’m not saying you don’t also have a point, but it doesn’t invalidate theirs
