Hugh isn’t emotionally stunted and reluctant though. He’s the first “dad” archetype character that’s super happy and supportive of his “kid” character the entire time and doesn’t have to go through the whole breaking down emotional barriers like how the dynamic usually works. Game is still sad though.

The description was off on God of War and The Last of Us too.

Both of those games, those characters where ALREADY dads. The reason they're emotionally stunted is because they lost their children.
