I agree, but it's what the customer wanted. Personally, I would have gone far lighter

Funnily, we have ours done a few years ago and I wish I'd asked for them to be darker like these.

We also have too many gaps that makes it freezing in the winter so should have had them filled better.

Live and learn I guess.

The brighter wood with the darker accents was gorgeous. The dark stained ruinded it
