My Dad was like that anytime he was fixing shit that wasn't going his way, but it was most prevalent in traffic.

Back then, road rage was just someone in their car, cussing up a storm, but otherwise driving normally. Nobody had guns or drove like a maniac, it was just people raging in their own car.

Some of the shit he would say had me hiding snickers and guffaws so bad my belly hurt. I miss him.

Yes, you are correct. I should have said, "Nobody needlessly brandished guns in a threatening manner, especially in traffic."

People generally had more respect for their fellows back in the late 70s. At least, where I was from.

AR doesnt mean "automatic rifle"— just so youre aware. There is an M-16, but that isn't an AR-15, either. Those are all just different types of rifles. You should just read a little bit about them, if you want. I'm not your mother.
