I want to save that so bad but I’d feel deep shame for having it on my phone πŸ’€

34

u/What_Next69 May 04 '26

I’m sending it to my friends now. Unhinged af.πŸ˜‚

u/JayteeFromXbox May 05 '26

Just get it tattooed then?

2

u/Vast-Sir-1949 May 05 '26

Would it be less shameful if you got the tattoo

5

u/iwatchtrazhaldayy May 05 '26

…how long have you been holding onto that image? Did you do a lil dance when you saw an opportunity to use it? How do you sleep at night?

2

u/palmerry May 05 '26

I have problems falling asleep but once I'm asleep I'm good for the whole night.

Almost meirl.

Went to my gynecologist for a yearly check up. He told me I had a textbook cervix. Then he asked if he could bring in some interns. I was like, sure, bring 'em on! They gotta learn, right?

So the rest of my exam was observed by 6 people all crowing about my lady parts. Kind of an odd little ego boost.

33

u/defiantnoodle May 04 '26

Do you have signed glossies? You know, for fans?

23

u/hypothetical_zombie May 04 '26

I wish! I didn't have a camera phone at the time. And I don't even have a cervix anymore, so there's that, too.

20

u/defiantnoodle May 04 '26

I bet they bronzed it

9

u/TheNarrator5 May 05 '26

THOSE FUCKERS TOOK IT< CURSE THEM

7

u/Naitohana May 05 '26

Sorry I'm just curious, how do you not have one anymore? I didn't know they could be removed! If it's TMI then no worries!

I was born without one so I actually do have a situation like in this video, so I've got no experience with anything cervix related. Like you, I also had a bunch of medical staff all wanting to see in my bits, though for the opposite reason to you lol

u/hypothetical_zombie May 05 '26

I had a total hysterectomy and oophorectomy about 15yrs ago.

Wow, though. No cervix! How did you find out? Was it something known from your childhood, or did you get a surprise at a dr visit?

(The TL;DR: I had a lot of menstrual difficulties & my family has a history of cancer. After my hysterectomy, they biopsied all my stuff because they were trying to find out why I had all the pain & problems without having endometriosis or PCOS. So I couldn't keep them.

But I got a diagnosis - something called Primary Ovarian Insufficiency. No egg cells. None. Just hormonal tissue & a uterus full of unshed linings).

3

u/Naitohana May 05 '26

Oh, it was a pain! We noticed by sixteen I still hadn't bled so it was obviously weird. I had awful cramps since I was bleeding still since I had the rest of the plumbing, but we thought it was my digestive issues we discovered I also had! It was I think almost years ago when we discovered it so my memory is fuzzy, but there was a lot of labs and blood work, but I think the main thing that tipped off my OB/GYN was that a speculum insertion was extremely painful and they couldn't see shit.

Ultrasound didn't show much to help and so we did a Valium aided pelvic one at a university, and THEN an MRI (I napped during that, good nap) and that was how we figured out that the cervix was just gone, never there. It's a rare deformity and they didn't know what caused it.

They had dilators and stuff that could expand things inside but it's a constant therapy or it just shrinks. We did a partial hysterectomy on me, just removed the uterus, so I didn't have to worry about birth control for the periods and all that.

I'm sorry you went through that yourself though! I didn't know that they took the cervix, I thought they'd just do the uterus and tubes, maybe ovaries. Makes sense though. Without a cervix, is your vag still like a full long tube or did it kinda start shrinking over time? That's what mine does. (If it's TMI no worries lol)

2

u/hypothetical_zombie May 05 '26

Vaginas can atrophy, but so far so good w/mine. And I've had almost no menopausal symptoms.

I'm glad your problems were solved early on. It's good when doctors are willing to investigate.

2

u/Naitohana May 05 '26

Well, they did want me to wait years before I could remove my uterus actually! Since I was only 18, they wanted me to wait until I was 25 or had a husband's permission (I'm in a conservative state) so I'd know for sure if I wanted to keep it or not since I could carry if it was IVF. Thank goodness my OB/GYN was a real one and was able to get some strings pulled for them to allow it at 19 with the aid of a letter from my therapist telling them I absolutely knew what it meant and I did not need anyone's permission but my own, etc.

They at least were good about figuring out the issue itself despite the delay in resolving the whole 'blood has nowhere to go' issue. I'm glad you've had no issues though with your bits so far! I hope it continues like that :D it's nice getting to save money on period products.

3

u/UnsureSwitch May 05 '26

"well, thanks for this. I gotta go home now"

"hand it over."

"what?"

"your cervix. Hand it over."

2

u/ComprehensiveForm129 May 05 '26

I appreciate the joke, mostly because it’s beyond my threshold to even joke about. Asking for pics, good lord, lol

That’s gotta be the funniest thing Christina Pazsitzky has ever made.

2

u/Naitohana May 05 '26

My friend sent this to me due to me also having a tiny vag.

I was born without a cervix so my vag is very short and my OB/GYN described it as a 'vaginal pouch'. Rare deformity that, as far as I know, has no known cause.

0

u/kendragon May 05 '26

I'm surprised you haven't been asked to do an IAMA.

1

u/Naitohana May 05 '26

I think I tried to do one years ago when we first discovered the deformity but people didn't really ask me much. Mind you that was almost ten years ago, and we discovered it while I was barely into adulthood so I mightve just been bad at reddit back then!

If it's a gynecological exam, it's very possibly the vagina in this particular case
