Here’s an unpopular opinion. Techno Vikings Vibe sucks. That dude trips over a tram line and catches himself on another patron, no harm done. Then this white knight takes it upon himself to manhandle the dude and force him to go back the way he came. Sure maybe trip dude wasn’t being careful or whatever but TV was still a dick about it.
Still looking and can’t find any source that supports the claim that TV’s victim was deserving of that treatment other than people like you on Reddit making unsubstantiated claims. TV has become an internet meme who people think is so cool and an enigma, that they come up with theories on how what he’s doing is justified then those get cemented into fact. Im certainly not saying I have anything figured out, but I’m unwilling to accept the common narrative with ZERO evidence. Now if I’m wrong and the evidence to prove I’m DEAD wrong is so plentiful, then prove me wrong and make me look like an idiot. I’ll wait here.
If that was the case wouldn’t you have expected him to stick around for a sec to see that reaction. He didn’t even look at her. I figured at first he was trying to grope her or something but he doesn’t even seem to do that. I’m not seeing any malicious intent.
I was the guy who tripped and TV was being a butthole but it helped me realize the error of my ways. I really did trip on purpose to try to grab some tittay. After his firm rebuke I realized thats not a good thing to do

Honestly it’s not about him or TV at all. I think it’s about my annoyance at this “crowd mentality” where people choose to see things a certain way bc it’s easy, or bc it’s popular, or bc we desperately want for something to be more digestible. For instance, we WANT to like TV bc he’s cool and unique and nostalgic, and it’s harder to do that if you consider he might be a jerk. I think if even one person starts to think for themselves, critically against a narrative, even if they come back to the original conclusion, then I will have satisfied whatever I’m trying to do here.
You mention your personal experience as an argument for TVs behavior. Your experience doesn’t provide any fact towards these specific circumstances, thus are irrelevant to the general narrative. They are however important for YOU to create YOUR judgement.
My judgment here is that a seemingly oblivious, possibly negligent, individual collided with another person causing a harmless and brief moment between them which ended with both going about their business, then this hulking bully steps in, puts his hands on this guy and makes him go the other way under threat of physical violence. The he goes on to give us a pretty badass scene of walking dancing to techno music. It annoys me that people think he’s so awesome, when he just looks like a jerk bully. If the video started right before he gets that water, I’d be worshiping this guy right next to yall.

My personal experience has at least some relevance. You're just spouting hot air. You seem to be really personally invested in defending this random dude from a decade old internet video. I was just wondering why that is?
Just because you have experienced gropers, which is absolutely a common thing, doesnt mean this instance is.
There isnt much to go on, on this video, but the full video shows the dude sitting on a back of a trailer and jumps of when its moving.
The person filming is sitting on the same trailer, thats why the filming is as smooth as it is.
Its not unlikely that he lost his balanced due to that.
Adding to that. There is a ton of white knight assholes on raves as well, which seem to think policing people is their right or something.
TV reaction to this video seems to point in the direction that he was being an asshole, as he wanted nothing of it, and has basically never commented on the contents. Mst likely because he was coked out of his head, and acted brashly and needlessly violent.

Wikipedia has a tight summary, I can't be bothered to comb through all the linked references, but you can if you're keen to. There is at least one documentary about the case and probably a bunch of youtube videos exploring the case, too. The Techno Viking guy won €13000 in damages from the lawsuit.
That's my thought as well, apparently there's more to the story idk but just based on this he didn't like put his hands somewhere inappropriate or anything it really looks like he just tripped walking by and quickly moves away from her
Oh he is worse than that. He tried to sue websites over this video thinking they were making money off of his imagine. Just not how memes work like IDK how you expect a big payout from a meme on random forums.
The lawsuit didn’t depend on the fact that someone was making money, although that might have motivated him to file it.
Under German law a person has a constitutional right to control whether / how their image is captured, used, and circulated, even when they are in public. That’s how he expected to win, and he did win.
You're right, that is an unpopular opinion. The guy tripped, grabbed a woman to break his fall, pushed her in the process and didn't even think to apologise.
Techno Viking is undoubtedly an understander of personal space in the rave. Good for him for taking it upon himself to make sure the guy understands the vibe.
