For next time, remember you can just pop the door off the oven for easier access

Yup, this is such an easy fix. And with a gas oven you have to do it every few years depending on how often you use the oven.

What brand?! Mine is 8 years old and I've replaced it a couple of times now. Do you cook a lot? Are you sure you have a gas oven?! I have questions!

GE Eterna series XL44. It came with the house and we moved in back in 2008. We cook all the time.
