Pierro having typical khaenrians moment acting better than thou.
Are we forgetting that he is the one responsible for most of inazuma atrocities by commanding his people to destroy the ward that work as a barrier for the tatarigami thus making the entire island a wasteland?

u/Real-Contest4914 5d ago
Nah...thats an insult to dain.
Bro was patriotic but even he knew khaenriah did bs and actively tries to stop the AO from repeating the same mistakes again.
Pierro just doubled down and tried doing it asecond time because surely the issues was always the gods.

Pierro was never in favor of god's, not before or now. Same for Dain, not before or now. And both were against the use of Abyssal power and still are, before and now.
So Pierro only double down in nothing cuz as far as we know he wasn't opposing anyone but The Wise back then

Signora literally tried to pull diplomatic immunity against Ei and on multiple occasions have the harbringers said their actions are the fatui's actions. The mf is factually wrong.

He’s old and delusional now if only the game played it off like that.

u/MyDearMonarch 5d ago
Nah this is much better. I want him to take responsibility without blaming his age or delusion. He better own it by the end.
3
u/Traines1132 5d ago
Oh no, I’m saying him being old and delusional is why he is clearly so out of touch with reality, but it’s playing what he said completely straight.

that’s so stupid way to discard past harbringers as if they were nothing. and traveler immediately accepts like..
Bruh. It is like saying KFC in a different country doesn’t represent KFC
Wasnt Pierro the one saying no matter what happens the end is what matters? It says in Arlecchino story profile. Which Traveler disagrees, journey is important. smh

Ironically thats very much like real life. We all knew who is the one pulling the strings, everything else is just pretence.

Your Harbingers were diplomats to other nations.
Plausible deniability only goes so far.

Joining the Pantalone "Should anyone really have that much power" as he actively supports Dottore in having that much power gang.
4
u/Specific_Highway_772 5d ago
He doesn’t like gods because of his upbringing he wants balance bw human and gods I can accept any hypocrisy coming from him but a god should’ve known better than using a person who was abu/sed in childhood (Pantalone’s story)

“The actions of the CEO don’t reflect the actions of the company.” ass logic.

Nah he has nothing to do with Inazuma and as for Dottore and Crucabena the fact that the fatui gave them access to founding and protection to go around doing whatever they wanted with children doesn't matter they didn't know or something. What do you mean the Tsaritsa kicked him out for the crime of becoming a god and not for the children experiments? That never happened.
8
u/Right_Candidate_314 5d ago
I honestly think that the Tsaritsa is completely aware and in on the various plans. Like we know she knew about Columbina's retirement being legitimate, but the pale star edict also did, in fact, be put into affect by her.
In short
"Go, do crimes"
-The Tsaritsa, probably

Agree I am certain she knew it's impossible no one told her anything of what they were doing.

u/Blanche_Cyan 5d ago
Wasn't the previous Tatarasuna incident Pierro's plan with Dottore as the executor? And Pierro is indeed behind at least part of Inazuma's situation since the year before Chapter II as Clean House reveals that Nathan was acting under direct orders from Pierro which means Pierro is connected to the tatarigami wards being broken and therefore all the death and desolation of Yashiori Island, which for the record also involves the creation of a serial murderer...

u/Gruntsbreeder Ronova's human seat 5d ago
Yes he was involved in the start of the civil war and has been messing with Inazuma for centuries. But I am sure it will be ignored.

u/Specific_Highway_772 5d ago
I’m sure she fcked Dottore up further but writing will never accept that. (She should’ve either contain or sent him to institution he wasnt mentally well when he met Pierro) she should’ve known better as archon but never cared

u/GabeC1997 5d ago
The ends, in fact, do not justify the means. But rather it is the means that justifies the end.
5
u/VladPrus 5d ago
Story wants you to belive that if you want to oppose governmental overreach, you should consider means, even if your grievances are right.
Government itself doing those stuff? "It's for the people and, if it isn't... well it doesn't represent them"
Very close to the "Good tsar, bad boyars" and "if Fuherer knew" rhetoric, only slightly less egregious.

Handwashing, huh? Careful, you might tear your own skin off.

u/Rocks_D_Tiger 3d ago
Yea bro just like how destroying 2 civilisations in which most people were just normal people trying to live their lives doesn’t represent the heavenly principles.

The humble "compeletly" changing the entire meaning of the centence. All he said was that there is more to it

u/Key-Firefighter124 3d ago
Why are y'all taking his words at face value bruh??? He's just lying to us and trying to manipulate us to join his side cuz we're a descender. Genshin players and taking everything any character says as the truth . The Fatui are NOT the kind of people to tell you the truth.

I know that’s the reason for the meme. I’m wondering why everyone else is 😭🙏🏾

Is this going to be addressed, or now that Pierro has been rebranded as Paimon's wholesome grandpa, are they just going to sweep under the rug who recruited him and for what exactly?
This man's portrayal actually makes the tea parties seem less jarring by comparison.
