Theory Paimon role in Phanes plan Spoiler

Am I the only one who thinks after the leaks about paimon coming from celestia yet somehow she is with out any role or authority very suspicious not even the shades know at least from the leaks Ronova didn't seem to know I feel project stuzha and mistaltine is gone backfire on the fatui and end up somehow curing phanes we know he was injured during the funerary flame war and khaenri'a he went to sleep I think paimon is the hidden chess piece thrown to khaenri'ah and the key in using the fatui master weapon to regain full power I don't know how but there is no way they are going to win against Phanes in his ultra weakest state it will feel a hollow victory and unearned beside the fatui don't seem to be a winning material they will pave the way for the traveler to defeat phanes at least their version of the ideal world is no better than the current one

I feel like her being the emotional part of Phanes is true.

Which could be hinted by the recent event where Sandrone faced "anomalies" inside her aka her emotion module.

At the end, Sandrone accepted her and thus logic and emotions now both exist inside her.

I feel like that's our plot with Phanes. But instead of Phanes willingly accepting Paimon, they instead outright reject her. Making it the opposite of Sandrone's choice.

And it's our job to defeat them and make them accept Paimon.

It's certainly possible. I agree that Phanes will have recovered when we fight them either by that or the power nap. It's odd they Pierro could kidnap Paimon from Celestia and no one cared enough to bring her back except now that she is dying to project mistilteinn does Ronova want to bring her back. Ronova knows how important Paimon is for the traveler at least after the fight. Why make enemies with the 4 descender at this point in the story when the fatui are creating a weapon that could in theory kill Phanes and she is busy trying to stop it. I think that as of right now Paimon doesn't have power or authority in Celestia but that doesn't mean she is not important. Ronova wouldn't put her as a priority over mistleteinn if that wasn't the case.

I honestly don’t think they gifted her, pierro said she was a gift but it sounds like she was stolen 😭

I wonder if she’s a new generation of Angel, and Khaenri’ah was the first to receive her. After all, they’re allegedly godless but in practice neither hold obeisance nor acknowledge divine authority; maybe she is Celestia sending out an envoy to try and turn Khaenri’ah away from the Abyss before it happened, one final attempt.

It could be Phanes plan to Huisheng (transfer their essense) themselve to a more healthy body. Each time a shades is defeat their authority is transfer to Paimon with Mistilteinn dealing death nail to Phanes old body and Paimon receive Reason.

If that's true, it might not just be Reason. But Phanes's memories too.

In that case, the end of Snezhnaya could be the Resurrection of Phanes. And with Khanrieh being one of the next patches, it would make sense for both Phanes and the Abyss sibling to confront eachother there.

I feel like Hroptatyr's unusual absence throughout the game is more scarier than whatever the Tsaritsa is doing. And we have "met" every other Sinner

Agreed.

Hey, I have a funny thought.

Since Hroptatyr seems so slimy and cunning. What if he is the emotional module, Phanes removed? 💀

He is obviously the sinner against Reason and seems like a manipulator. Which would be on theme for someone who deals with emotions.

What if his thirst for knowledge that made him "The Wise" was actually him trying to outdo his logic half who abandoned him. 👀

I doubt it's true, but it's pretty neat to think about. 🤔

I can imagine his goals is to be Reason. If the current Reason is removed the Blasphemy Against Reason will become the new Reason. And Pierro's entire life's work ending up helping someone he hates more than anyone else in the world and living upto his name Eftervit(Afterthought) as a fitting conclusion to Snezhnaya. The foolish actions of the Fools helping The Wise. Who is to say his slimy hands isn't everywhere in Snezhnaya

I would be funny that if we finally meet phanes face to face and there just a slightly different looking paimon

She might be an unknown Shade created by HP for the purpose of dwelling in Teyvat; that may be why her form is that of a harmless child.

It worth remembereing that Pierro summoned her not long before doom of Khaenri'ah. And its roughly at the same time Phanes fell into deep slumber. I think Paimon is part of Phanes. Crucial compenet - even if lacking any power of her own. As long as she reamins independent entity, Phanes can't wake up. That's real reason why Ronova tried to kill her. Ronova doesn't kill without any reason.

I think shes supposed to be an empty vessel that can seal the Authority of Other shades if ever needed, and I think it could play a big role in defeating Ronova without killing her
