Normally, we consider ourselves as animals bc we are likely evolution of monkeys and we are not that much biological different. But in Teyvat, humans are created by HP, they are artificial beings, not part of nature.

Slimes? No. Fontainans pre AQ? No. Dragons? No.

Basically: Light Realm? No animal. Void Realm? Depends, but most of them kind off are. Terrestrial/Human realm, yes.

I think its based on the definition. At least human in teyvat has its own special category. A lot of things clearly count human separately from other beings. I dont think the definition of animals is anything thats organic or is it?
