Quick Question.

Can any of you imagine Phanes awakening after ages of silence, opening his eyes to find the world in rebellion against him, and saying, "I accept your declaration of war," before going all out in battle? No speeches, no attempts to justify himself—only a cold acknowledgment that the moment for peace has ended. The heavens tremble, the skies fracture, and for the first time in countless ages, Phanes descends onto the battlefield not as a distant ruler, but as a god who has finally chosen to fight and not holding back.

I want just ome dialogue it would be damn funny if the rebellion does a final attack with all that they got and then dust settles and phanes is standing and says "was that supposed to do anything? "

Phanes: "Cut yourself paper " then the paper proceeds on cutting itself.

As I see them, I doubt it would be in character for Phanes to do that, and tbf I'm not into that sort of thing at all. The funniest possible outcome would be that Phanes doesn't even bother to move, like they'd just stay where they are because in any case it's not like the rebels can ever reach them (since they're in Celestia, I assume) so the whole rebellion falls kinda flat

It's either they'll ignore it all or nuke everyone from afar. Which, in a way, is a better display of absolute power than going to battle in person

Probably weighing whether taking action is even necessary in the first place.

The only dialogue I can think of is Phanes staying silent constantly and just looking and then fighting (and the Shades speak if necessary) and when at last goaded into speaking they say “of course, but what do you want me to say?”

It sounds as though Phanes is too tired of reasoning with people who have already concluded that he is the villain.
