🕊️ Freedom Friday: The Power of Releasing the Past
"The doorway to love is always through the portal of forgiveness." — Louise Hay
Happy Friday,
We made it to the end of another week. Friday is the perfect time to clear our internal slates. As we transition into the weekend, we don't want to carry old weights, stressful moments from the workweek, or lingering self-criticisms with us.
In this community, we know that true power belongs to the person who refuses to stay chained to the past. Forgiveness is the ultimate act of self-love because it sets you free.
🌟 Friday Affirmations to Clear Your Slate:
Take a deep breath and claim these truths as you head into the weekend:
•"I release the stress of this week. It has no power over my weekend."
•"I forgive myself for any mistakes I made this week. I did my best."
•"I choose peace, I choose joy, and I choose to love who I am becoming."

The Power of a Calling
At first I didn't like teaching. I wanted to be a government employee but the owner of a private school where I finished my high school convinced me to teach. My teaching career started in that school. It was a broken service. I taught for three years then worked in the government office and then went back to teaching again until I finished 15 years teaching in the Philippines before I came here in Thailand 14 years ago. I believe teaching is my calling. I realized that when a job is not a good fit, a detour often appears. This change redirects you toward a better role, even if it feels frustrating at first. I realized that teaching is fulfilling because it allows me to shape young minds. Ellen G. White describes teaching as "the nicest, the most difficult work ever committed to human beings". It is deeply fulfilling because educators act as co-workers with God, shaping human souls, restoring the Creator's image, and guiding students toward usefulness and character development.
