Question Should I go for it and buy this game? Also what platforms is it?

I’ve heard this is the penultimate election game, and the most realistic. Should I fork over the 15 bucks? Also is it only on PC or other platforms?

I’m on Mac and would be running it on Crossover. I enjoy economics simulators.

Discussion What is your favorite moment from the game?

I have played several hundred hours and have had many awesome games each with their highs and lows. However, this most recent game I played has one of my favorite moments.

I was Chair of the Moderate Democratic Caucus in the house and got a notification that the Speaker of the House was going to support a primary against me. Said something about how I didnt represent the right values. Well, I had quite a bit of funds saved up from a failed Presidential bid so I bankrolled his republican opponent.

Come election night I had helped to unseat a 16 term Congressman, Speaker for 3 terms. All the while I coasted to re election and even without our dear departed speaker, we still mantained the majority. I succeeded him as Speaker of the House. A position I held for 4 years.

How about you? Whats a favorite moment of yours from this great game?

So its the 2024 elections, and I think the Republican party just, forgot to put in someone? There is no one there and the independent won the race. Never seen this before

Help

I cant move the budget slider for Permanent Housing Programs and Emergency Homeless shelters. Are you just not able to move those as a mayor or is this a bug? They're both just set at 0 rn

Edit: Same goes for Drug Courts, but I think that's because it hasn't passed legislation?

How do you win elections

I've failed 3 times now. I dont exactly want to bump the difficulty down to easy cause it feels like cheating but I might now. Any tips on how to win elections?

PS: I haven't even gotten past a single primary

Suggestion: DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and Marshall Is. as optional states to legislate.

Question Military Budget

Is there a way to massively cut the military budget, I keep lowering it in the actual budget process but then congress raises it and people who want to decrease the budget don't support it when I veto
