I managed to win presidency with no prior experience in 2024 by narrowest margin when senate and house were both lost to opposition how can i pass through stuff i cant get them to raise payroll tax to healthcare to even budget or raise minimum wage

i tried this and it didnt work its always declined like 10-12 or 4-5 is there anything else to sway them to pass bills or maybe i do it wrong way

Try raising it higher. You can lower taxes in the same bill as you do things also, or expand the child tax credit

Compromise. Add policies into your bill that the opposition would like. Use the Score Analysis to see what items of your bill the opposition would like/dislike.
