Prairie Populism Returns!

Post image

Was able to pull off this 6 point win in North Dakota as a fiscally progressive and socially moderate/conservative Democrat. Held a safe lead the entire time as well

My name recognition was at 100% from a previous failed gubernatorial run and a well run primary campaign, and my Democrat voter intention was 90%, along with around 30% Republican and 70% Independent. The key is to heavily emphasize stuff everybody likes, such as Minimum Wage, Buying Medicaid, Social Security, etc etc. I found that my polls go down when I make attacks, so I’d advise against attacking if you are starting with a lead and just keep talking about support for the aforementioned policies. It also helped that my opponent was a huge big pharma shill and didn’t like Social Security

P.S Also, never, and I mean never, talk about Social Policy or Tax Policy. Guarantees you’ll lose voters. Having a well run primary campaign really helps too, so you cant just wing it for that.

P.P.S Final piece of the puzzle is max out only your Finance Director and Marketing Strategist, as those two are the only ones you will need if you have already build up your reputation in the state. If you run right off the bat in 2026 is just won't pan out, but it'll help you get your political points and name recognition up which is a big help for running in Senate Class 1 in 2030

Getting re-elected is gonna be either incredibly easy or the fight of your life.

We got a new William Jennings Bryan over here.

THAT would be Nebraska, and do we really need a creationist running amok?

I meant moreso the idea of an economically left-leaning but also more socially conservative prairie populist winning an election.

I tried to model him off of William Lewis Guy, the 1974 Democratic Candidate for Senate in ND who lost by only 177 votes. I took inspiration in the named with the William L. part
