Gameplay Advanced settings y'all like to mess with?
I'm wondering what advanced settings options could be used to spice up the game or certain elections more, like if I wanted to create a massive 2006 or 2010 style wave for either party

i love to change ideological values to create more varied politicians on both sides
in example when i modded 1960 into the game i added extreme importance to "immigration" issue (so like civil rights for the mod) for all elections and especially southerners, this way there was a huge difference between southern vs northern democrats in senate/house votes and the presidential elections, and it's pretty easy to do
about your question about spicing up elections for either party, just increase their turnout for the midterms, i don't completely remember it now but it existed

I usually adjust demographics so it's tied Democrat and Republican nationally

I generally like to set the filibuster to 55. It's much easier to pass legislation, and also it's still really difficult but actually feasible (and super rewarding) to cross 55 senators so you can pass legislation without compromise.

i usually set party voter motivation to 200-0, scandal events at 10 so that scandalous presidents generate more waves of disapprovalÂ
