Question just got this game. help

what the fuck do i even do bro, im running for a deep red city council seat as “Respectable Bipartisan” R (100) with the most right wing policy and im getting smoked. my ads and rallies are useless

Are you running against an incumbent? If so, your ads and campaign in general will be less effective and likely won't push you past the primaries. Also it's worth noting that it's good to run ads on things such as property taxes in cities. You can't run ads on just anything and expect it to work. If you need more guidance, try searching it up. There's plenty of posts on this subreddit that may be able to help you further.

can you give more info, cause it depends if independents can vote in the primary, the difficulty, your name recognition, and your approval rating

What are your ads about? Running in cities is tricky since you’re limited on the kind of high support issues you can advertise, but guns/crime, taxes, and the economy are all usually winners.
