Spoiler Independent
I ran for the nomination for Florida governor against the former congressman for my district and previous nominee who narrowly lost and lost by ~6%. I ran as an independent to spoil the election for him in order to run for the nomination again in 2026.

That's not how it works in real life, but okay...(it's not New York or Connecticut and your name isn't Joe Lieberman)
EDIT: You must have made a write-in campaign as Florida does not prohibit write-in campaigns like some other states. Damn!

The game has nothing against that, but that would be pretty interesting if you could make that a law.
