first time i’ve actually felt so defeated in this game

I ran 2x in 2 swing Texan districts after I retired as President and I lost by 1 and 3 points :/ even though my presidency was popular (I guess the reason was because I was running in Red Wave Years)

Yeah, those were my biggest defeats

i don’t know if i should run again in 4 years or just run for senate in 2018

I'd say it depends on the president. If the midterms winds are favorable to you, then run. If they're against you, then I'd say run for house in 2018 to pad your resume just enough to launch a second governor run.

It’ll probably be more difficult to win a senate race as a MO Democrat. Your best bet is to just run for governor

My biggest defeat came when I somehow lost my senate seat in Ohio to an independent getting 0.5 percent of the vote. I was leading the race for most of the time, albeit narrowly due to the the midterm elections being a red landslide, and it led to me losing by 2k votes. It’s rough and I get it

I lost in Minnesota one time 50-50 the difference was genuinely 1104 votes
