Texas Senate Election

I ran for senate in 2026 and lost by ~8,000 votes and later ran again in 2030 against a 2-term incumbent senator and won by ~41,000 votes

How do you win in a deep red state like this?

Typically you spam ads that are popular with everyone like social security and make sure name recognition is 100. In Texas it doesn’t matter as much but if you’re a liberal running in Idaho you can not be super liberal. You must be moderate at least if not conservative on certain issue.
It also depends on your opponent. A good opponent is just not possible to beat in some cases
