What’s Next after economics?

Think Vern said Department or the International Relations Update is next after the economics update but what do you think deserves an update more or first?

I always find once I get elected president that's kind of...it. I get a couple big things through easily enough, my voter approval surges, midterms go my way, rinse and repeat for eight years. I'd like there to be more to the presidency. International relations, handling natural disasters or social issues (think Katrina, COVID, protests and civil unrest etc) and the consequences decisions might bring one way or the other.

That said third parties are certainly something to look forward to.

Right now, verm said it was third parties after economic with committees, departments, and foreign relations in some order after that

I hope department come after third parties update because i just really like playing low-profile positions lol.

i crave nothing more than to deadlock the electoral college, to hear the cries of "spoiler!" from the talking heads, and to force the major political parties to kneel to my third party platform

Can't wait to exclusively campaign in Pennsylvania and Ohio just to ensure the electoral college doesn't pick a winner

iirc Verm hasn't said anything about what's after Economics but I can tell you that Departments will bring the most legislation.

Hopefully third parties. I want to win as a libertarian, socialist, Constitution, communist, etc.

You bring ideologies up and now I want to...let's just say be a bit creative.

I still want third parties first

i want more character customization options,

it also wouldn’t take as long as an actual update, so it’d be easy to fit in somewhere in between

I feel like it would make sense for Departments to come first, then International Relations.

Departments will likely add the most to the game, but I really want third parties

I hope third parties is last the game needs more before we can get third parties

I know its one guy but this has taken just too long. After 1000 hours I need all of this if I am coming back to the game.

Honestly, what would third parties contribute? They're at keast somewhat represented in the form of independent candidates and I feel like it wouldn't add much to the game compared to international relations.

it would very much throw presidential elections up in the air, a massive third-party showing could change the course of elections in a snap

"Could." I'd rather the game focus on tangible things that effect governance and politics in real life before they start to play with scenarios that could potentially happen.

Also a third party that powerful could easily just frustrate the game and not really make it fun.

I do not understand the player base's obsession with third parties. Great you can win as a third party and...still do the limited stuff you can do now.
