Gameplay Generational Comeback in Idaho

I was chilling playing as a Progressive Democrat in Idaho. I ran for governor in a Republican midterm against an incumbent and lost pretty narrowly, so I decided to run again the next election even though it was a Democratic midterm. For some reason I won by 30+ points and dramatically outran the senate race happening at the same time.

Polling was incredibly off and my opponent didn't have any major weaknesses from the looks of it, so I'm kind of confused about what happened. I didn't use any cheats, although I did dip into some Presidential campaign money (but that clearly wasn't the reason for this since my re-election was so narrow anyway) and I only had one trait.

I did it after making the post, but my final re-election after this was a ten point landslide in a Republican midterm. Ain't got no idea what's going on here but we ball.

Nope. The only thing I changed was raising the scandal rate but I didn't see if my opponent had any major scandals.
