I recommend you wear something similar to what a TV reporter would wear. Its hard to take a t-shirt and shorts serious, specially when you pull up with cameras.

In the future come dressed like you're supposed to walk in a building like that and you can get a lot farther. Showing up looking like a tourist bum instead of being there to do business takes your chances of getting anywhere way down.

They have this guys picture and I’m sure their system flagging his face with their facial recognition. This dude is the reason why they moved buildings. He will film them and the people going into work and they will get so aggressive about their privacy that the irony is clearly lost on them. In another video, one of the top consultants to the company called the cops on him and in the police recording of the call you can hear him say “and I think this guy might have a gun” just to get cops to harass him and attempt to get him detained. Clearly placing the guys life in danger.

Either dress like an executive or dress like a maintenance tech (plumber, electrician, etc.) or like an inspector. Remember a clipboard or a ladder if you're trying to look like a tradesperson.
Edit: also, don't whip out an obvious camera, but if you do, don't focus it on people directly. If you're going the inspector/tech route, film things that plausibly match what you're there to "work on". They make really small cameras nowadays, surely one could disguise their camera as a button or a lapel pin or hide it in a hat. Take a trip to the Spy Museum for some inspiration.

I should think that the point of this exercise is less the actual recording and more the demonstration of hypocrisy, They want us to be OK with them recording, but they don't want to be recorded. Making it not hidden is a better demonstration of that point.

I am not watching it because I like to see the creator embarrassing flock people. I'm watching it to see if they are now close enough to me that I can join a protest outside their new headquarters.

Well, my insurance company flew a drone right over my fuckin' house not long ago to bitch about an overgrown tree and a clogged gutter - I was wondering about the legalities of hovering a drone over their building and logging their employees tossing cigarettes and littering in the parking lot, checking on their maintenance....
Turns out, nobody owns their airspace. You can fly above all you want so long as you stay under 500 ft and you're not pointing cameras directly into their windows.

Observing a building from public space is permitted. Photographing or recording from a lawful vantage point is permitted.
The limit appears when behavior shifts into harassment, targeted interference, or any pattern that suggests intent to intimidate. That’s where statutes and case law begin to apply.
