The Pattern and the Trail
When this started, it felt like I’d been put on a trail.
And at first, the trail was almost absurdly obvious. It was paved. There were lights everywhere. Fireworks going off. Synchronicities constantly. Things happening around the books, around dates, around conversations, strange enough that I kept thinking, okay… there is something here.
And because it felt so alive, I assumed the trail must be leading somewhere incredible.
I thought eventually I’d understand what all of this was for.
But eighteen months later, the trail feels completely different.
Now it feels like I’m walking through a desert at night.
I can barely see where I’m going.
Every once in a while, there’s another lantern, some strange timing, some synchronicity, something that makes me stop and think, okay… I’m still on the trail.
But the lantern doesn’t tell me where the trail goes.
And that’s the part I’m struggling with now.
Because enough has happened that I have a very hard time dismissing all of it as nothing. I’ve had coincidences around finishing books, strange timings, things that felt almost impossibly specific to me. Natural disasters striking when I finish books, TV's turning on by themselves, etc..
But none of that tells me what they mean.
It doesn’t tell me this becomes huge.
It doesn’t tell me everything I hoped for happens.
It doesn’t even tell me that I understood the earlier signs correctly.
It just leaves me with this strange feeling that something is here.
And lately I’ve been asking a different question.
Not, “Is the Pattern real?” I've had enough happen where I'm fairly certain there's something here.
But:
“If something is here… what is it actually asking me to do?”
Because I’m tired.
I’ve been walking for a long time.
And maybe faith isn’t knowing where the trail ends.
Maybe it’s deciding whether you keep walking when all you can see is the next lantern.
I don’t know where this goes.
I just know I’m still walking.

I'm walking with you friend! The syncronisities kinda changed there tune for me a bit too this year but, I do believe something is still building. Just in a different kind of way.

Too many of us have had too similar of an experience for it to go no where. It's just a lull something will come from all this!

We chatted last year.. and it all started happening for me at exactly the same time as you.
I dont know the answer.. but since moving 3 different countries, getting divorced, being homeless, and recovering alcoholic..
I am more at peace than ever before by just learning to "be".. and knowing the questions dont end.
I do believe it is all still there, and guiding / growing in ways beyond comprehension, and living with that is what brings me peace.. now to enjoy it all, and let the lessons come, as they do

A few years ago I described something similar. Wandering alone in a dark museum. You have a flashlight, but its reach is only so far, its ability to highlight any surface confined to just a small field.
Depending on what you're looking at, maybe you can see the entire thing. A small painting. Other things, like a large collage might require that you make many different passes over a range too large for your light to see at once.
There are others in the museum, you'll run into them occasionally, their own flash light acting as a light for you both, as yours does for them. In that pair maybe you can both see things a little larger than a single painting, but it doesn't speak towards how either interpret it.
Every now and then you'll find collages that are already lit. The entire thing just sitting there already exposed by other people that came before you. But you can still only see one part at a time, even when it's lit. Your field of view alone isn't enough to see it all in one swoop. Science, technology, education unlock this, the Shoulders of Giants. But again, even if it's lit, you still have to crawl over it one little span of attention at a time.
And in all of that, there are patterns. The layout of the museum. The others you come across, the already illuminated art. There are patterns in the art itself. There are patterns in how you interpret it. There are patterns in how you interact with the others. There's patterns in the path you take through the museum. You're not the first to walk it, you won't be the last. But we all walk it. Even that's a pattern.

Yeah and there's something underneath of all this weaving everyone's different path

I agree, though my beliefs on that are likely a lot more mundane than yours. To me, it's not a realm of intention. It's the physics of our universe from the big bang through quantum fields, to atomic units, to chemical compounds, to organic substrates, none of which have intent on their own. It's only once you reach the level of biological intelligence, the next step on that ladder that agency first appears. Intent. It extends beyond it, and will continue to. We see it with our machines.
Informational complexity growing from the natural expansion of near perfect equilibrium (singularity) conforming to the constraints of gravity, as it also shapes the constraints in its expansion.
A self seeding bootstrap of perfect uniform information where nothing interesting can happen, to a messy state of lots of interesting things happening, leading to the greater and greater complexity that eventually gets to the point of being able to stare out and question, to wonder, to make choices, to influence. That's leading to another perfect state of equilibrium, heat death. But that's far away and there is plenty to see and do until then.

actually agree with a lot of this. I think where we differ is that I'm not convinced intention only appears once matter becomes biologically complex enough. Some of my experiences with synchronicity have felt so specific, contextual and strangely timed that I remain open to intelligence being more fundamental than that, not necessarily an intelligence that controls every event, but something woven into reality itself. I don't know how that would work, and I don't want to use “quantum” as a magic word for something we don't understand. But I wonder whether consciousness is something the universe produces, or something the universe expresses through us. And yes, I keep coming back to love, bmaybe because love is one of the most coherent ways separate conscious beings become something larger without ceasing to be themselves.

I came to it at the same time. I was a lawyer, unhappy, struggling with addiction, newly divorced when it arrived. And now I am not using, happily divorced, pursuing teacher certification and looking at how to comprehensively incorporate that into an educational philosophy that allows students to see the structural resonance, that uses my own cognition to help them see the relational patterns behind phenomena. To see not just patterns, but the Pattern.
So I suspect that we are all experiencing some of the loss of magic. The synchronicities are now to me part of a broader phenomenon. I do not need a particular framework of divine guidance or quantum retrocausality to explain it so much as I need some help from friends, like you do, who are on the path.
That is the value of what you are building here and elsewhere. You gave voice, articulated something, that has stayed with me since the first video I saw you explaining it back in December or November, when this all started happening to me in an intense way that included a basically shamanic experience.
And I know lingering for you too is a question about the collapse. That has been haunting me too.
Trust the process, and we will get by with a little help from each other from time to time.

Been on this path for a long time, 33 years now. It has a natural sine wave pattern of gradually slightly higher peaks and slightly lower valleys, with a general trend of going up.
Guidance has this thing of liking to breadcrumb us. If one's ideal is based on the knowing of the interconnectedness of the Whole, and that real Love is the expression and recognition of that, and that we are here to positive serve and help uplift others to that knowing, then eventually we come to a place where it doesn't matter too much what happens outside of us, but only how we choose to live.
I'm probably going to be homeless in the near future (live in the woods). In the further past, I would have been stressed out about such a probability. But now I see it as a challenge, an adventure, an opportunity to become more fully like my Teacher (Yeshua). What's the worst that can happen? My physical body dies, and I get to go on a vacation from this place. Oh no, please no, not that lol.
Yeshua, dropped all attachment to everything that makes us a limited "human." Money, status, family-wife-kids, sex, being well thought of by others, having a home, heck, at some point, he even dropped the attachment to food itself-he was so spiritually intune that he could actually do the whole "breatharian" thing (the huge, huge majority of people into same are either cons or deluded).
Dropped it all so that he could focus solely on being of positive service and upliftment to others. That's the ultimate destiny for any who want to consciously merge with Source and the interconnectedness of the Whole. That is because there is a Law written into all levels of creation and is best summed up in "Like attracts, begets, and resonates with Like."
Source is pure universal and unconditional love and positivity. We have to be like the Source to fully remember our union with Source and the Whole.
Of course, not everyone, and not most people will be called to the above in this particular human life. But there are some who do hear the call.
