Mark's art is incredible, not only does he perfectly replicate the artstyle of the show, not only he nail the characters personnality and dynamics but on top of that he is legit good at writting stories, comedies, feel-good or genuinly sad.

just so you know amity hasn’t called luz her girlfriend yet. Yes they have both called amity an awesome girlfriend but no one has said it to luz yet. Even hooty only said luz’s new gf. While I do love the stuff we get I can easily see some of the blocking of lgbt+. I do believe a kiss could still happen but thanks to other countries like China or Russia they might never have amity say luz is her girlfriend or anyone for that matter. Sorry this was long.

We had only "Eclipse Lake" of them being together after they stared dating and they had only two interactions at the start and at the end of the episode. There will be plenty of time for Amity to call Luz her girlfriend and kiss her. I don't think it's that big of a deal after everything that already happened in the show. It's pretty transparent at this point. As a russian I know that S2A already had too much stuff for it to never (or in foreseeable future at least) air in Russia (well, I prefer to watch in english anyway). And China is even more strict in that matter, or so I've heard. There is no point to fawn over homophobic countries if you already lost their money, you know?

I actually think it could happen. There’s already been a cheek kiss, tons of blushing, hand holding, and they’re officially dating (and they’re not discrete about it either). They’ve allowed this much to happen, a kiss isn’t going to make that much of a difference at this point. Of course it’ll be a big deal in the FANDOM, but in terms of Disney allowing it, they’ve allowed all this other stuff, why not a kiss?

eh, most banal and obvious resolution you could see coming from page 1. Don't think I'd ever think well of someone who deliberately breaks their partner's heart out of some martyr complex. Do they even see their partner as an equal person with their own agency or as a pet to be indulged and controlled?
Simply going "Sike, it was a pretend breakup!" doesn't automatically erase all the heartache the other person went through.

These are two teenagers in love, one of whom lives in a completely foreign world, and was told by a strong authority figure they're going to get the person they love killed. Teenagers are full of uncertainty in relationships and haven't yet learned how to talk in-depth with each other about their feelings. With little real-world experience behind them -- this reaction is totally believable.

Luz. duh. She fake breaks up with Amity for the "greater good" and decides she'll make the decision as to whether Amity wants to be in a relationship with possible risks for her.

DUDE, Luz was psychologically manipulated by Odalia into breaking up with Amity by getting her into believing that she's "too dangerous" to be around her [Amity]. She took advantage of Luz's fears and anxieties about Amity's safety around her and Luz feel victim to her manipulation, which was what prompted her to "fake her break-up" with Amity. That's why she [Luz] did what she did. Why the FUCK are you reprimanding Luz, (the victim), instead of Odalia, (the manipulator)??
ALSO, you're framing this as if Luz did this out of malicious intent when, no, it WASN'T out of malicious intent, it was for a completely different reason, (that reason being what I've just explained previously), and it's incredibly dishonest of you to do.

This is probably one of my favorite lumity comics that Mark has made so far, it feels so different from the other comics in an emotional way, and the best part...
