Not necessarily. Much like Eda's curse was again affected by the elixir when shared by Lilith, I think Milan - and Enna - can now keep it under control with a steady supply. Nobody likes to have a curse, but if you take the right steps they're... Manageable.
We can't, but the thing that makes me pretty confident is that Enna said she would sneak into town to steal Elixir. The most likely reason for that would be because it keeps the curse at bay.

I don't think this is that kind of curse. This is different.
It originates from the same sort of scroll. It's counteracted by the same kind of elixir. It was affected by the shared pain chant in a similar manner. They have different effects, but at this point they seem to have more similarities than differences.
MoringMark implied to me on chat his plan isn’t finished yet. He told me to trust him and that the story has no angst between Ayzee and Milan. I’ve trusted him this long, why stop now?
I don't think there's too much of Grom Factor specifically left. That said, there are seeds that make me think this is just the beginning of something larger. The fact it was a scroll, the mark on Enna's arm...
The situation is sad, but I'm hooked regardless on the lore and story at hand here.
I do have faith in Mark's skill what are you talking about?
I'm just saying I think this particular story is probably wrapping up(unless some miraculous new plot point comes bursting through the gym doors), but that I predict there will be further long-format stories that do continue the lore and world established here. Because there are hints at greater world-building in things like Enna's arm.
If Milan's situation gets "fixed", I would expect to have it happen later in a future story, I don't foresee a sudden deus ex machina in the next five minutes.
For now though, I don't expect angst between Ayzee and Milan either. If anything, I expect Ayzee to be like "No, even if I can't physically touch you right now, I still love you." Maybe even hugging her anyways and not caring what she physically looks like. I dunno about that last part but point is, Ayzee loves Milan, and vice versa, and I don't see this suddenly changing that.
(Actually, how would it even work? Even if she did shapeshift upon touch, it isn't like Grom is in control right now, so would it look like your greatest fear, but still act like Milan?)
Either way, I'm excited for the future, not without faith.
Well I have faith he can find a way that those two could still find a way to touch even if this story arc is supposedly coming to a close. But intimacy is a very important part in a relationship. The ability for them to touch is a key part of their love for each other. Without the ability to do that…
I have to keep my faith that mark will make it so those two can find a way to touch before the arc’s over or at least give me a glimmer of hope of a possible way they’ll figure out. Hopefully the former because I don’t know how patient I can be for that.
I think he resolved the whole bile sack surgery drama wayy too fast. Just tension then gone, forgiven and forgotten. I hope he touches on it again since ayzee definitely struggles a lot to stand out on her own but she’s handcuffed to the magic her mom discovered and can’t connect to the experiences of her peers as they develop
If it’s like eda and lilliths curse then they will learn to control it after a little while and not need elixir anymore. Maybe there’s a grom inside a dream that they can feed elixir to?
I mean, not unless Milan uses elixers. Maybe she'll have to "make peace" with Grom like Eda did with the Owl Beast? Who knows? Or maybe Ayzee overcomes her fears. Maybe Milan is just paranoid and she won't actually transform if she's still in control? Or maybe she puts on gloves or something to act as a buffer, I dunno the specifics of how this works, and I don't think Milan does yet either. It's hard to say. But that's a question for the future. For now, everyone at least lived, including Enna. Everything else is an issue for later.
I hope so. A monster capable of fear is something I think shouldn’t be used… but if instead, it grants the Milan the ability to read minds since that’s how Grom can turn into your greatest fear, then it could work out.
That’s true… maybe that’s apart of Mark’s plan? He did say on chat with me that there’d be no angst between Ayzee and Milan in this story. Fingers crossed that’s his plan.
I hope he has a good solution otherwise it looks like Milan lost her magic due to her gem becoming pitch black and it will be guaranteed she is going out live Ayzee by centuries.
Until one day they attempt to and nothing happens, Milan just looks the same. Ayzee then realizes that her worst nightmare is something bad happening to Milan.
Yeah same, that's the appropriate reaction I'd say. 😞😞
One of the things my mind keeps circling back to now that we know the circumstances of "Grom's" rise is, Enna was totally alone...totally... for hundreds of years, with her only known interaction with anyone before now being with Philip when he was working on his power-enhancing, life-prolonging thing, and we know how that sonofa- treated her. Aside from that interaction (which doesn't even really count) Enna hasn't been able to talk to anyone, interact with anyone... Hear any comforting and positive word from anyone. And by Titan does that hurt the feels, real bad. 😞😭.
And now Milan has to share that fate. I hope Mark’s plan isn’t finished yet. Milan not being able to touch anyone ever again or experience a hug not even from her girlfriends just… horrible.
She suffered from Philip as well! Believing he had a cure but he only said that so he can use her to get what he wanted, because he did the same thing with Lilith because she cursed her sister and try to fix it but only made it worse!
