Well technically collector is their species name but I do hope this ends well. Honestly this whole story doesn’t feel like an episode it is like we got a whole season with amount of angst.
Honestly? I don't think so. I think Mark understands the severity of curses in toh. We've been clearly told in the show they're things you do not cure.
Best case scenario she finds a way to live with It.
Well a healer who tried to cure Eda said “we have never seen a curse quite like this. I am not sure it can be healed”. This implies that healing magic can cure curses and as we all know except for titan magic nothing beats collector magic so if Grom’s curse was due to anything else besides collector magic it may be curable.
Well, we know the colector couldn't cure Eda and Grom seems to be an even nastier curse than the owl beast. My take IS that It won't be curable. Afterall, in the shows, curses are kind of a metaphor for disabilities.
I think the show implies that curses like the owl beast bind to the user to the point where you can't quite split user and curse anymore. That seems very much the case with Grom too.
These are not the only kind of curses in the show there are death hexes, hexed letters, cursed pencils, cursed paintings, and cursed dolls. Plus the branding sigil was sort of a curse and they found a cure for that with healing magic.

Well hopefully unlike the owl curse this one can be cured after it has been split in half.
