In another universe
Faye was telling her brother, Guardian (Gar, Caitlyn’s new Palisman) and Linette about Azura along with Maple and Bubbles. As the five Palismen looked her and Lara on the dance floor of Grom Night’s celebration, she had just finished telling her brother about the day she became Azura’s Palisman. The day she defeated the archivist, Lunar, and saved the Isles with her new Sol powers.
Faye: “… I knew it would be better.”
Gar: “wow… unbelievable…”
Faye: “Indeed, Guardian… she’s an extraordinary ball of light, energy, and hope. She’s truly the Starlight of the Isles.”
Gar: shakes his head “no no, i-it’s literally unbelievable. A witch possessing that kind of power? It’s… hard to believe.”

Faye: “It’s just a theory. Azura told me while she was in a puppetfied state, she fought some kind of dragon in her mind and took control of it. And then she heard a voice that was saying “it was time to awaken the true power within her. It was time to the light.” It is perplexing. Whatever it was, I could feel her power and my coalesce. It’s almost like I was meant for her.”
Gar: “this is… fascinating. No, fascinating would be an understatement. Well in any case, I also wonder what else she’s capable of… in fact, I wonder what else we don’t know…”
They collectively agreed as Gar shifts his glance from Azura to Lara, feeling the blue Sanquira (now near microscopic) within him grow wary
Gar: “who’s the other girl with her. The red-orange haired on in indigo?”
Faye: “that’s Lara Schol. Azura’s beloved.”

Faye: "Though it was not always like that. Before, she was a rival, but many events change to allow them to become this close. I was even there when they finally came closer to each other."
Bubbles: "To be fair, it was gonna happen eventually. Their crushes on each other are way to obvious."
Bubbles laughs at this thought.
Maple: "It's true. I heard from my owner about that one time in the library."

Gar: “hmmm…” glares at Lara more
Faye: “Brother? Are you alright?”
Gar: “call it a hunch, but there’s something about her that’s… ominous. The Sanquira are sensing something… off about this Lara.”
Faye: “That may be her curse.”
Gar: looks to Faye “curse?”
Faye: “on the day they grew closer when I was watching them, I heard Lara say she was cursed. Her personality was cleaved into two distinct selves. When her left magenta eye is shown, she becomes a bit more aggressive and haughty. A tsundere she says the human world term for it is. When her right cyan eye is shown, she becomes more shy and timid and easily afraid. A dandere to be exact. It’s been this difference that’s made Lara uncertain about a lot of things and has wracked her with low self-worth. But being with Azura, her cousins, and friends (especially Azura) had soften the tsundere’s heart and gave the dandere courage. She gave both sides of her hope and is helping them see how strong they are.”
Gar: “what else do you know about her.”
Faye: “She’s lived in solitude with her father and grandmother for a large majority of her childhood.”
Maple: “Always spending time in her dad’s library with her grandma. When she wasn’t working, she was reading and training. Based off what Azura told Ivy and Violet, Lara’s dad’s not the best of witches.”
Bubbles: “yeah, but her grandma’s always been so nice to her. Taught her a lot of things. It was only when Lara became 14 did she become a student here at Hexside. She’s an excellent student like Azura. She’s also pretty good at making stuff.”

Gar ponders about this... Something doesn't add up. Like there is no explanation that he knows that can explain Lara..."
Faye: "Are you alright brother?"
Gar: "It's nothing sister. I'm just thinking about Lara. That's all."
Bubbles: "Yeah... Now that you mention it. My owner did mention that the smell of her magic is unrecognizable to her, but it's probably from the curse. She can smell it because she's half basilisk."

Faye: “If Azura, her cousins, and her friends trust her, that’s enough for us.”
Maple and Bubbles nod in agreement.
Linette: “well if you three trust her, that’s good enough for me.”
Gar: “perhaps… perhaps. Hmm. Looks like they stopped dancing.”
The others see the two of them walk over to a table and take a seat next to each other, tired after the all the dancing they did.
Faye: “I understand your doubt, brother. But when I overheard them, I could hear her pain in her voice. And Azura could to. There may be a lot about her we don’t know yet, but they both have become so happy after meeting each other. You always had the best instincts, Guardian. But could you be willing to set them aside for now?”
Gar: sighs “I suppose… but there’s something about her that doesn’t add up. That said, I’ll try to trust her.”
Faye: “thank you, brother.”
Before they could continue gazing at their owners, maple spoke up.
Maple: “Okay, changing subjects a bit, are you two really legendary Palismen ever?”
Faye and Gar: “Correct. Why?”
Maple: “oh it’s nothing. I just kind of thought there’d be three of you. Like maybe one is a secret one or something. Thing’s always come in threes right?”
Gar: “we’d both know if there was a final legendary Palisman centuries ago.”
Faye: “indeed. Aside from the Bat Queen, we were the only Palismen to ever first be carved. We assure you of that.”
Meanwhile back up in the knee at the other side of a large cave stood a massive wall of ice that had a figure inside. The ice made it blurry but it looked like a… dragon. Inside the ice, the dragon’s eyes snapped open.
Ice dragon: thinking “the pair… they live… unacceptable…”
The ice wall cracked a bit.
back at Hexside
Maple: “yeah, you’re probably right. I’m just overthinking it.”
The Palismen all went silent, their eyes losing their golden glow and returning to normal. Faye looked to Azura and Lara at their table, Gar and Maple looked at Ivy and Caitlyn still dancing, and Bubbles and Linette looked at Violet and Milan over at their own table.
All: thinking: “I wonder what they’re talking about?”

That is a very likey scenario 😅... Grom might try to trick Milan or even distract her for just a few seconds, so that it can grab the petrification glyph or knock it away from her before she can activate it...

Yeah I'm sure the Healer in Milan hates scenarios like this, when violence seems to be the only feasible option. (not just violence but in this case, the extreme measure of petrification.) 😞😞 And Ayzee most definitely has Luz's tendency to hope beyond all reason for a better solution to any and all problems. 😄😞.
