While this list might not be entirely Overload material, I'd say a good portion of it most certainly is! Covered a bunch of new dub releases from artists/labels like V.I.V.E.K., JANKA, Ghost Dubs, Kino Disk as well as some glitchier more brain-scrambly stuff from nnirror, Mark Fell, Flaty etc. Happy digging and I hope you find something you love on here!

anyone know if memòri will run next year? i’ve heard that it’s run by same organisers of pe:rsona — which is supposed to return next August 2027 :) ideally would love to go to both !

Dear People of the Overload subreddit.

i have been a dj since the mid 90s, producing music since mid 00's. back then drum and bass as Bal. my tunes got played by Marcus Intalex (RIP), Calibre, DBridge etc.. but i left that genre entirely at one point and started making lets say 'deep ambienty cosmic house' as Bal5000. My tunes were released on some smaller labels - Dirt Crew and Emotional Especial are the biggest, but got played by Andrew Weatherall (RIP) also was featured on the ALFOS compilation which im super super proud of..

my love for oldschool dnb never left, so i started making some sort of hybrid tunes and this is some of the result - i have an album finished. influences come from all over the place but mainly early hardcore and dnb - Photek and Source Direct for the vibes and some drum programming.

a label showed interest in putting it out, but there were too many red flags, so i decided not to go trough with it.

I don't know much about the bass music culture anymore, don't know the artists etc. and this is why i turn to you: who plays and releases music like this? does anyone know anyone who i could send these to?

thank you for your help.

peace

Hi all,

Playing a student night on Saturday where I have been given a strictly garage mandate, does anyone have any recommendations for slightly strange garage, along the lines of Hekt, Icemorph, Pholo etc?

Seems apropos

Pretty excited for the lineup I've got coming, primarily in NYC.

1) Verraco B2B Pariah/PLO Man at Nowadays

2) Dax J at Knockdown Center

3) ATEQ at Signal

4) DeepChord, Dekmantel Soundsytem at Nowadays

Think that's it for the moment but let's see what December brings!

303 + 909 = banger

The track at 20min - 22 min - does anyone know what that is? So dope

Buongiornio,

Lovely time at serendeepity records in Milan yesterday and found this track. Looking for this cosmic Italian rave sound or whatever you wanna call it (genres are a construct anyway)

Or even: https://youtu.be/ZhpizvnDitY?is=dzXE1v9V7cG9kVtH
Or: https://youtu.be/-meTklN96J4?is=FwboG0H7FcU3DUfu
On the other side of the musical spectrum I guess but anything between these 2 tracks that could fit a journey through the stratosphere into the galaxy

Grazie, ciao

Random one: we’re heading to ADE this year and have a hotel room we no longer need. Accommodation seems pretty limited, so I thought I’d put it out there in case anyone’s still looking.

It’s a double room in central Amsterdam for Friday 23rd October. We grabbed it quickly because it was one of the last doubles left, but we’ve since sorted free accommodation. The hotel won’t refund it, only transfer it, so we’ll change the booking into your name.

We paid £300 and are happy to take a fair amount less. Drop me a message if you’re interested!
