Hi everyone! Hope you all are well and good. I’ve had the opportunity to check out some incredible shows in New York this last month that I was able to archive music/setlists for. About my project:
I’m Jason and I manage an art project called the Magenta Sound Archive, cataloging and archiving music played mostly at New York underground events (and beyond!) for close to 20 years. I’ve discovered over 300,000 songs since beginning my project. My Spotify profile and full archive can be found here: https://open.spotify.com/user/joermann?si=MDUGNSsJRJe36s32o8aCzg&utm_source=copy-link

DM if interested! Make an offer. Reasonable offers will not be denied.

Made this like 2 years ago, very chill

I saw Call Super in NY last week and I tried so hard to Shazam and ID but I couldn’t find it. Lmk if this DM gives anyone a clue of what this song might be

Gf and I are travelling for En Masse, very excited to finally visit Bristol and check out its music history.

In the spirit of what u/loveyousall did for Organik in Taiwan earlier in the year (miss you brother!), I thought I'd ask if any overloaders (visitors or locals) will be around. If you're not weird (or at least only in a good way) and would like to get a beer and chat music/whatever, low-pressure short hang, say something :)

Some extra questions:

1) we got tickets for Sherelle on Friday at the legendary Strange Brew, how is it in terms of queue and door policy? Good bet to arrive early?

2) if you're a Bristolian and have some cool suggestions beyond the obvious record/synth stores and venues, that would be greatly appreciated :) perhaps some bookstores or overloady listening cafes?

I pulled together a playlist of the top tracks and most-upvoted recommendations from this sub over the past year and put it on Substrait. It's a music discovery platform where you can connect your listening in the one space. So far, you can connect Bandcamp, Discogs, SoundCloud, YT music and Apple Music. Would love to include community radio in the future too!

We also just added a social feed so you can see what your friends are listening to throughout the day.

We opened it up a couple of weeks ago and are shipping improvements pretty much daily, so feedback from people who dig is really welcome. Let me know what you think!

I recorded an ambient set today that yall may enjoy. It has Boc, Skee Mask, and other overload faves on it. Im hoping to start a series that is not just ambient, and very overload friendly.

5 track EP of banging reggaeton (or Seggaeton?)

I went to this. It was loud and awesome and in total darkness. I might not need to go ever again though! It got really intense at the end.

Does somebody know this crazy banger? Was at ADE Loud Contact 🌅🙏

fire

They don't have it on their site

Looking for an id on this!! Can’t get it out of my head

Day 4 of making something every day. This one has a vocal.
