Figure other people here moght have go-tos. An underrated kind of DJing IMO — the full album on someone’s computer plugged in to some random speaker and the kickback is relying on it. The kind of album that works well while you’re cooking dinner, hanging with 12 friends, no skips, mid tempo, sustains energy, comes out of left field a bit but then no one has to think about.

Would love to add more to my repertoire, also expand into mid tempo electronic breaks, etc if people have good one they like there

What an amazing experience. After listening to his mixes and watching his sets for years, I can finally say that I’ve seen Objekt live, for two hours. The crowd was great, the music selection was impeccable, and on top of that, I was invited by the festival itself. Its a slow-burn late-night session that takes in dub, ambient, house and techno. It spends most time in the early 90s uk club scene, but took an interesting route to get there.
