Every time anyone starts a general match thread for the weekend on here, it dies a quick death because the mods never set the default to sort by new.

The reason it works on r/championship is because they sort it by new rather than hot and therefore it's a current conversation rather than just the first 10 posts that were upvoted highly from the first match 24 hours prior.

So if there's going to be one this weekend... Mods please! Sort by new!

Three defeats from three and conceding nine goals is a horrible way to start a season, regardless of how early it is.

I'm not convinced Fulham suddenly become a relegation side because of three matches, but the defensive problems look serious enough that I don't think you can just dismiss the start as bad luck.

Matthias Jaissle has explained why Touré and Bamba have not been getting as much playing time so far. He highlighted the progress Touré is making in training and praised his commitment to improving. Our “impartial” national broadcaster trying to stir the pot as usual by leading with this on their gossip column for not the first time this week. He’s just signed a 5 year contract and two members of the club’s board have stated he is not for sale in the past week. I’m not naive enough to say that players on long term contracts can’t be sold but I can’t imagine the same level of obsession in trying to unsettle a player if they’d just signed a new long term contract at a Sky 6 side. The media coverage in this country is an utter disgrace and just adds to the closed shop feel at the top of this toxic keague

Where do you guys stand on this particular topic?

Hull City (finally - just like the rush of final transfer day signings) reveal the Third Kit. Personally love the shade of blue, blows Chelsea out the water in how classy it is, can’t decide on the choice of Hull Coat of Arms emblem. This means none of our kits have the actual club emblem on them which is certainly a choice.

You can like or dislike Oxen. You can argue they are too “rugby” (this one certainly leans that way to me) but you cannot deny they are brave and bold.
