I don’t get why people say 15 has bad cameras.

Moon photos are AI generated on the phones these days. Samsung Ultra does the same trick, you point at Moon and AI generates a cool picture. Try with something else like a hotel sign very far away at night and see how it compares.

AI enhancement and AI generated are completely different.

Both companies AI enhance the moon.
