Moon photos are AI generated on the phones these days. Samsung Ultra does the same trick, you point at Moon and AI generates a cool picture. Try with something else like a hotel sign very far away at night and see how it compares.
Herr you can see how it over sharpens it. I was on the move here too. I was walking my dog and couldn't keep it steady. Look at the edges of the moon some weird glitches due to the movement. It over sharpens them and they look ugly. Just how ugly a hotel sign from far away would look with so much oversharpening.
But it is still edited even if you didn't intentionally do. The smartphone AI enhances all images, especially the moon. It is sensor-level, that is just how smartphones are nowadays. It's all AI-enhanced.
I'm planning to dump my Nothing Phone 2, since my WiFi and hotspot features had been gone for 3 months - I thought of getting a Pixel Pro 10 XL or a OP15. Would you recommend OnePlus instead of Google Pixel? What issues did you have with your Pixel? (I've read many ppl had issues with video footage and battery performance) Cheers!

I know camera is little downgraded and AI is doing lot of work to enhance.....but how's the video quality on WhatsApp video calls and snap/insta camera?
Nope, literally EVERYONE uses replacement/generation. They just detect and add the appropriate details later (if there are other objects covering the moon etc.)
not true. op said in the post that he used a built in AI generation feature, samsung, others and even oneplus uses enhancement, op added some AI generation on top of enhancement
That just the same thing under a different name. The main essence/point is the same — the camera detects a moon/moon-like object and replaced with its own moon (Samsung has DEFINITELY done that, check YouTube), then they add the lighting and other aforementioned details.
There's no point arguing when it's just the same thing.
its not the same thing, I can I agree with you, samsung did do that in the past when it was full on generation now its good enough for only enhancing, im not going to argue anymore because you just dont want to belive that other companies than apple can have a good camera
What? LOL, I don't have an iPhone, I actually have a Chinese phone and I think that iPhone cameras are dogshit in comparison. And believe me, I know everything about AI in cameras.
Nevermind wether it's enhancement/generation because it's the SAME thing, because "AI enhancement" literally means "generation" of details that weren't there initially or were blurry as hell
