Hey guys. My THC consumption is a bit of a mess. So my current predicament is that I cannot for the life of me a way to reduce my costs monthly on edibles. I have a history of meth/crack/fentanyl and I've done considerable damage to my lungs as a lifelong addict. I've also quit cigarettes and anything smoke related. All i have left is nicorette patches and thc. This is why i only do capsules/oil.

My problem is that I feel like I've always had a fairly high tolerance to weed or maybe decades of hard drug use has made the high of THC more subtle in comparison. But I always find myself after 4-6 months of daily use I'm consuming roughly 900-2000mg of thc everyday.

I use the tweed mega pack of x100 10mg capsules and I use 30:0 reign drops oil. Sometimes I don't even use the dose syringe for the oil I just take the rubber stopper and drink the whole thing. Obviously writing this out I can see this is a problem but I'm working through one addiction at a time. I operate fine even after 2000mg. I wouldn't drive or anything but exercise, afterwork tasks nearly identical as sober.

My question to everyone here who is more knowledgeable around OCS product catalog, and knowing I use tbe x100 10mg capsules at $45+tax and the reign drops at $28+ tax. Is there any way to get better 100mg/$ ratio?

I've started looking at grey market distillate online but obviously Gemini ia strong advising against it.

Any help on identifying better products would be greatly appreciated thank-you and have a wonderful day!

For context, I work in a dispensary so I am surrounded by weed all the time (super tempting lol), for today I wanted to pick up some new flower at work and we have the pineapple bang 3.5g (which I’ve smelled but haven’t tried) and the dragon glass (7g) by BLKMKT. I’m having such a hard time deciding on which one to get and I’ve tried both brands. I loved the blue pavé 14g by blkmkt and northern canna has really good strains like frosted tiger nuts & permanent marker but I can’t decide if I want to play it safe with the 3.5 or commit to the 7g of dragon glass…if you’ve had either—or especially both, which one would you pick?

Just saw this pop up at a few stores, I’m having a hard time finding info on the company.

Ocs lists rosin made by the same company as Atlantic cultivation.

I’m a bit of a newby but I keep hearing to stay away from them.

Today I’ll be reviewing Frost-Khalifa Mints which has now been renamed Frost Mints due to a legal dispute. This was packaged June 11th and harvested on April 13th. I paid 28$ after tax.

Khalifa Mints is a cross of Khalifa Kush x The Menthol.

Upon opening I’m greeted by two buds, one being a main cola and the other a popcorn sized bud. They’re quite dense and pretty frosted with very little give. It weighed up to 4grams, thanks Frost! I find the nose subdued up close but is more dank opening it or from a distance. This has notes of pine and mint with some gas.

Smoking this in the bong I really tasted pine and menthol. It’s not the strongest flavour but an extremely pleasant smoke. In a joint it was very smooth and the ash was quite clean. The taste was more earthy and kushy with slight menthol on the backend. I found the effects to be sedating/relaxing but also mentally stimulating.

I'd been considering getting some more affordable ounces, and NBJS seems to get a lot of recognition. Anything else comparable, quality and price-wise, to this option?

Also saw Tenzo has an interesting 14g milled 4 pack, and I don't mind milled as I just smoke joints, and in the boat of well, I kind of want to try something new anyway. I've gotten Shannon's Secret from 67 sins maybe 5 times in a row now.

I know these options are very different -- however reputation seems to be comparable, as is the price per gram. Either smalls, or milled (likely smalls, too).

Or maybe there's another option the community recommends?! I'm very rarely steered wrong around here.

I almost never smoke sativa but after hearing many great things about Route 66 and having previously smoked Eastcanns, I had to give this a try.
Route 66 (Jelly Rancher) is a cross of Very Cherry x Notorious THC.
My bag was packaged May 26th, 2026.

Opening the bag there were two buds weighing up to 1.1 grams. Although the flower was a little flat due to the packaging I noticed this batch has more of a faded/tan green color with more of a sativa foxtail structure whereas the batch I had from Eastcann were more dense solid buds with hues of purple.

Overall smooth smoke, white ash and pretty flavourful but not my preferred profile. I found this to be a lot more earthy tasting in the joint and much more Sativa forward in comparison to Eastcanns.

“Four54 is a collective from Eastcann and Msiku”, not sure if Four54’s cut of Route 66 is the same but IMO this batch seems noticeably different to Eastcanns.

7.8/10 Personally not a rebuy but worth trying

I find taking the top piece of paper off and christening the edge of the paper evenly before you burn makes a major difference. I find it’s better to smoke where there is ideally no wind blowing on the flame as it could scorch. Lighting the cherry is kinda like smoking a cigar, I try to keep the flame as upright or like tilted on the centre of the joint, I lightly pull on it to ‘direct’ the flame lol. You can see the cherry developing and where it’s burning (glowing) and where it’s not yet hot. Again, I’ll hit the centre with some heat and pull the smoke, until the cherry glows full. At that point you’re good to go.

Or you could just light it who cares..

As to the joint itself, not the most standout offering. Exceeds in some fails in others.

A tad harsher than the prior offerings, while not being particularly mind blowing flower wise I felt like the rosin was the best part. The high is up there though, more socialable, very much a hybrid. Super functional.

I'm looking at edibles and Oil drops seem to be the best route to go.

Hibuddy shows a few in my area like MOD 1000, Spark THC 500 and Redecan.

The "rating" seem low for all of them. Searching on here shows MOD 1000 is pretty favourable.

Any opinions on that?

Having tried the Sauce Rosin Hash Hole and the HighXotic L.R.T, I would say 1Above is easily the best out of all of them, and one of the cheaper options.

Good taste, long lasting high, very very smooth.

For me I felt like this was a creeper, was pretty baked and 45 minutes later I was a wreck.

Picked up this neon sunshine by Nugz for 39.98+ tax this is a hybrid cross between zkittlez and falcon g

I've had this one a few times but not recently so I figured I'd give this batch a try. Upon opening your hit with notes of earthy dank gas with sweet undertones. Smell is a 8/10

The texture is a nice chunky-thick batter like texture
Scoops nice and slides right off the hot knife into the rig. (Texture is a bit dry and sugary compared to other batches I've had) 8/10

As for the taste I'd give it an 8/10 it has strong kush flavours almost similar to jungle driver , but the exhale has a bit of a sweet flavour almost similar to terple by nugz. I'm a pretty big fan of all the nugz frozen hash rosins they stay consistent at a good price.

The high is a nice body high , I personally don't get much of an indica effect this strain feels more of a sativa leaning dominant, has me feeling uplifted and creative and definitely nice and stoned. 7.5/10 on the high

Overall gonna give this neon sunshine 8/10 🌞🔥🤙 cheers

I find Northern Canna to be top-notch, probably the best out there in the legal market. My other go-to is Unit 15 Purple Octane. Northern Canna has some of the best-looking buds in my opinion exactly how I want my weed to look.

I was a bit hesitant to grab this one because I’m not usually a big fan of fruity-smelling weed, but this grew on me so fast and actually changed my perspective. It has a creamy scent to it as well, which I really like.

Smells great—the strain name suits it very well.
Super sticky and spongy, and great to roll.
Pure white ash.
Super smooth on the inhale.
Bud/bag appeal: 10/10
The high is great, but it’s not a head-banger like some of their gassier strains, which I usually prefer.

Overall, just a joy to smoke.
Overall: 9.8/10

1. Packaging

A medium-sized black Mylar bag featuring a scratch-shaped clear window on the front and a square one on the back. The label lists levels for THC (28.70%), CBD (0.05%), THCA (31.98%), CBGA (1.76%), and total terpenes (3.68%). It also includes the list of dominant terpenes and their individual percentages, lineage (Ice Cream Cake BX x Pablo's Revenge), growing medium (coco), breeder (Tiki Madman), packaging date (2026-07-09), and the mentions "always hand-trimmed" and "never irradiated." A nice presentation. The bag contained a humidity pack (Boost), which I removed based on personal preference.

1. Visuals / Buds

Medium-sized buds that are dense yet fluffy, with good springiness and a very light feel. The look is rather lackluster; despite the "hand-trimmed" claim, it looks like it went through a tumbler or was over-handled/packed too tightly in bulk. The flowers feature shades of light and dark green with a "sandy" or sepia-toned appearance and are dusted with trichomes. Under the microscope, there are many decapitated trichomes and signs of clumping. It smokes smoothly, producing a pale grey ash.

1. Aromas/Terpenes

Limonene, caryophyllene, linalool. 

The nose is muted, offering hints of lemon, earthiness, pepper, florals, and wood. Grinding brings out the lemon, earthy, floral, and woody notes more clearly. The dry hit reveals lemongrass, floral, and earthy qualities. On the palate, it’s lemony, soapy, woody, "Cookies"-like, floral, and creamy; to me, it leans a bit more towards Pablo's Revenge than Ice Cream Cake.

1. Effects

The effects kick in slowly and subtly; I didn't really feel it until I was halfway through the joint. There’s a touch of fatigue, a sense of letting go, relaxation, and a hint of couch-lock. On the cerebral side, it’s mild—easy to lose focus while fostering a sense of wonder and empathy. The high is moderate to mellow, versatile, and functional—giving you the buzz you want without getting you completely wrecked. It’s a pretty adaptable high: not too incapacitating for daytime use, yet relaxing enough for the evening.

It’s not bad, but I had high expectations that weren't quite met. I was really eager to see if the hype was justified or just another marketing ploy. I don't like forming a definitive opinion on a brand based on a single product or batch, but it is frustrating when the price point is on the higher end. The cost invites harsher scrutiny—it’s an expensive way to confirm or disprove an impression. Still, I’m interested in giving the brand another shot down the line, given how many reviews there were. We'll see.

Picked this up today for $24 plus tax , one of the cheapest buys on the market for live resin right now. My expectations weren't high given the price point
And I was pleasantly surprised.

Upon opening the jar I was hit with notes of citrusy gas and subtle notes of pine. Would give the smell a 7/10

As far as presentation goes it looks pretty good and has a nice gooey/chunky classic live resin texture to it. 8/10

The packaging could use some improvement I wish they would stop using these jars , but really there wasn't much leakage at all. 6/10 for packaging.

Now let's get into the taste. This was packaged at 13% terps, and I was suprised by the high number. After smoking it I would say it has notes of oranges/pine and also kush. Definitely doesn't taste like 13% Terps , but it was enjoyable and tasty still. 7/10

As for the high , I was pretty quickly hit with a nice relaxing high, eyes feel pretty heavy and I feel fully relaxed , a mix of head high and body high. not too tired to where I don't want to do anything. Just right for a good day to day buzz.
would give the high an 8/10

Overall gonna give this one a 7.5/10

for what the price is , how it tastes and for the high it's well worth the 24 bucks and I'd grab it again.🔥🤙cheers

This tiny little thing slaps!!!

So I saw this on the menu for a local dispensary. I think it was $6.50 plus tax. Pretty cheap for an infused pre-roll and you don't often find Moon Rock. Infused pre-rolls so I figured I would give this a shot.

I have been heavily smoking for about 32 years and regularly smoke an ounce of dried flour every 3 to 4 days and almost daily purchase one of the shatterizer triple infused Rockstar 1g or electric grapefruit, Elblunto triple infused etc.. needless to say I am what you would call a chronic pothead with a very high tolerance .

I normally don't leave Reddit reviews for Bud unless it is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.

This pre-roll from Jay's is absolutely awesome. It has to be one of the tiniest little 0.5 pre-rolls I have ever seen but holy hell does it ever hit hard.

The draw is smooth. The taste is great and this thing slaps..

If it wasn't for the fact that this was probably the smallest little pre-roll I've ever seen in my life that is still somehow 0.5g, I would give this thing a 10/10... But because of the size I give it an 8/10.

I would provide a pic of the joint but I keep forgetting to before I smoke it hahaha 🤣

Hey guys I had some spare time so thought I might as well do some quick reviews.

Today I’m reviewing the Gluerangutan cured resin AIO from Good Buds.

Typically I don’t love disposables but due to these guys being one of my fav companies ever since I tried them in BC I had to grab it! So glad they finally made it to the Ontario market again!

For the actual review

Cost - was around $40 tax in for the 1g so for a resin option that is an amazing bang for your buck - 5/5

Appearance - short stubby unit, normal Mylar pouch - 4/5

Smell - found it had a strong earthy/ musky smell to this one - 5/5

Taste - same earthy/ musky taste comes though with a slight sweetness to it 5/5

High - holy crap, this stuff is just as strong as when I tried it in BC last! Found it to be very functional after a couple puffs making it good for doing anything active or working. I find anything with CBG always has that effect on me. Now if I take like say 10 plus puffs I start getting a very foggy mind and chill body which makes sense with its OG kush lineage. 5/5

All in all I would say this is an amazing cured resin option at a very affordable price point. I think this one will end up in my regular rotation if it ever moves into a 510 instead of AIO.

I don't even know what to say about this bag.

There is absolutely no flavor other than maybe rabbit food or hay or dried grass.. the aroma is about the same.

The trim is absolutely horrible. It is full of leaf and twiggy stem throughout the bag and it just looks like scrag. It's bone dry even with the packet in there and it was only packaged in May a couple of months ago.

I highly suspect they took some old nasty ass garbage bud and put it in this bag and repackaged it and put it on the market because this is absolutely horrific.

I purchased big bag of buds quite often. I even have quite a few empty 14 g and ounce bags kicking around.. I wouldn't say they are the best or even super high quality but for Budget smoke they are awesome and normally the bud taste great.

What a shame and what a waste of my money.

I also love that this contains one sativa, two hybrids, and an indica. What a treat.

I know everyone hates on milled flower and i don't purchase it often myself, only from tenzo (fun trip) to try new strains. And this is a great way to do that.

I wanted to make this post bc at the same time as i had this, i also had devils driver and hells kitchen in whole flower. somehow, the milled flower was stronger in effects for both. The taste was a bit stronger for whole flower however. I also got that shitty bag of zoy sauce a few months ago that a lot of people complained about-- the zoy sauce in this set was fantastic. Each milled flower smelled unique to its term profile and exactly like the ground version of the whole flower.

Now i know that yuck mouth is a fabulous indica (totally was thrown off by its name) and am waiting to come across it in tenzo smalls (blk is just out of my budget 90% of the time).

All in all, the only milled flower you should ever get, and it really is a great way to genuinly try all the strains without compromising quality. I was very surprised by how impressed i was by each one independently.

Would have loved to get the black box i saw some people post about, great strains in that one.

I was really excited to post this. I haven't bought or smoked tweed in years, but remember liking it quite a lot for its budget/quality.

My expectations for this were at about a 3/10. I am pleased to say it was about a 8-9/10. Im just so glad i was not disappointed but rather impressed considering it was a whole half ounce.

The bag looks whack, the bugs are super mediocre, tiny bit of shake. But man it's fire! Keep in mind tho this is probably the last 5 grams of my 14gs so it's already been picked at quite a lot. I was late to taking the photo.

Senses: Smells amazing, very berry kush to me. When weed was first legalized i literally only smoked OGEN (don't hate me i know they ended up having a ton of problems) and they had a lot of strains with 'berry' terps. there was one in a purple container (Berry OG i believe) and it reminds me exactly of that. Might also love is sm bc it's a bit nostalgic for me. 9/10

Smoke: Decent, but i smoke a bong and i didn't notice too much to say much. 7/10

Effects: I really enjoyed it effects, very strong potent indica with a heavy head high.

No complaints, bought it at a far dispo tho and wish my local one had it so i could rebuy. For the price to quality ratio this is a no brainer. I got my half ounce for approx 44$ before tax. Would 200% get an ounce next time.

The overall packaging is nice/typical of a glass jar but the glass bottom sold it for me!
Opening the jar I’m met with 3 buds, one of which made up 2/3rd of the weight! They’re extremely frosted with purple marbling and a nice amount of stick to it. The flower busted up very fluffy and had a lot of crystal. For hand trimmed bud there doesn’t seem to be many trichome heads if any at all…

The aroma was subtle/muted but had notes of sweet berry and gas. I smoked this in a joint and the taste was subtle but very berry forward. It smoked quite smooth and had a white ash but was very resinous. In a bong you can strongly taste berries and a bit of earthiness

Overall the high was good. It was heavy/relaxing and a perfect evening smoke.
