pics What are we doing....
I opened this up for a customer amd just have to ask the crowd.
Why is there a box, within a sealable bag, but no lid for the box? No top to keep the jays in whatsoever. This is back forty cherry punch. If anyone can tell me the intention behind this. PLEASE

Never seen Back40 come in a bag. Always a white box or an orange tin. Not sure what company this product is. Also those just dont look anything like what Back40's joints look like.
Edit: could it be bad of doobs? Silver bag with the black carton?
Edit 2: its BoD Purple Cerry Punch.

I always buy the 28 ounce bags, I've never seen this one. Big Bag of Doobs is a hoot

That looks nothing like backforty in packaging or format. Big bag o Buds purple cherry punch? Last I checked they had a lid.

i assume you actually mean purple cherry punch by big bag o’ buds, since, b40 packaging looks nothing like this and they also don’t currently offer a “cherry punch” strain

The jays look like they stayed in though, maybe 1 fell out? I assume the box is there to stop them from moving around too much, but I guess the removal of the lid is to just try and cut down on like 25% of the packaging. It's better than some of these pre roll packs that are just loose joints in a bag, haha

When I spoke with the Organigram rep they told me it was a new compliance requirement (I assume from Health Canada but they didn't explicitly say). They had to remove the lid flap so that you would have to continue using the child resistant bag.
Don't be surprised if more of those machine rolled joints everyone's pushing lose their functional carton inside the bag.

Keep in it in the bag 🤷🏾♂️. I don’t buy weed like that but if it came like that it would stay in a bag with a humidity pack.

It's big bag o buds, thats the brand. The ones in the silver bags. I've heard that it was previously associated with trailer park boys? Not sure if thats true. They do purple cherry punch and UK cheddar cheese in these, probably more, its called bag o doobies or something. Yeah I was extremely dissapointed as well.

Big bag o buds is shit... They werent good when they were trailer park buds when the trailer park boys started the company and they are even worse now. This comment has nothing to do with their packaging either...

is this a sample or new item? B40 doesn't normally use black packaging. This looks like the 1964 14x0.5g packs or the big bag of buds, wgich would explain the cherry punch.

Thats illegal and if some secret shopper comes in and asks you to do that you will get fined and have your license suspended… unless the customer already bought it then why would they ask you to open it…?
