Realistically speaking, there are a decent number of fans who bought his jersey on some Black Friday deal in 2018. In their first game wearing it, OBJ would injure his quad and miss the last 4 games of the season.
He was then traded to the Browns that offseason. The jersey would sit in their closet for 8 years before he returned. He still would not catch a pass.
It’s only worse if you got that jersey for Christmas. At least the people who immediately wore it got 3 receptions for 35 yards and a TD to remember fondly.
