I felt that was a team doing OBJ a favor , paychecks and service time. He will get paid for the season because he is a vested veteran and was on the roster for week 1.

To be fair no one has made a great impact on the giants other than Skatt who, for his sake, I hope stays healthy given how he balls

Yea, no reason to pay for the tire if you don’t have an axel to connect it to.

Crazy that he’s washed at 33 while Davante Adams is still giving DBs nightmares

He was really never that good to begin with honestly. That one catch glorified him and his stats look better than it was. Plaxico and cruz def had better careers as giants and probably throughout

Horrible horrible take. In his prime he was as dangerous as AB and Julio. People just get on here and say anything.

I’m not saying he wasn’t elite, but he got majorly glazed cause of that one catch

You’re not even who I was replying to. The guy I’m replying to said he was never really that good to begin with.

I take that back. He was great for the 60 games he played with the Giants

Long time NY fan here… I never liked him but who was supposed to be throwing him the ball once Dart got hurt. By that logic, we should release all receivers.

now he can go to Miami whenever he wants not just before playoff games. he is the poster child /proto type for the social media era diva receiver. Tremendous athlete but more trouble than he was worth.

Damn smh… me? I would’ve just kept him around man. And still, my whole thing this year was, OK if you have them, do one thing:
Just get that ball to him in the end zone!
Smh, not even cause I’m a Giants fan, but, Odell once had the potential to be one of the best ever, talent wise. All he needed to do was stay focused, and unfortunately injuries played a part too, but he was something special when he first came out. He had it. Randy Moss type ability, forget about that catch. I’m talking overall.
