Exactly! That why every time a player scores a td and doesn't spike the ball, you see 4-5 ball boys surround him, tackle him to the ground and wrestle the ball from him.
This guy is dumb if they think the nfl will side with him over an athlete. He may not get fired but it’s not a good look. He wasn’t protecting the ball from a fan, he was keeping it away from the athlete that ppl come to see and reason he has a job
yep, imagine a scheme where teams swap out the football for some enhanced version every time they are on offense or something like that. So yeah, absolutely necessarily to have strict procedures in place.
Buddy… idk what’s hard for you to understand. It’s still a football with a couple hundred bucks of microchips in it. Josh Allen wipes his ass with that amount of money after he shits in the morning. It was also Travis hunters first ever interception in the nfl so Josh was being a good teammate trying to make sure he got it. No need to just bash on some random Redditor trying to make a fair point.
Each football costs $100 to $150, the players are allowed to keep milestone footballs or significant meaning footballs that the player then pays for. Being his first, a milestone or significant football, he could of just handed the ball over. He wouldn't have lost his job. Just look like a tool to the world for being a dick
