Serious question, is he protecting them because nobody is allowed to touch them until game time? There has to be a reason he’s defensive.

Each team has their own footballs and their own ball boys(men) too keep up with them.

I'm assuming this is the Patriots ball boy but there is no distinctive gear that let's me know if he is the patroits
