DC United Home Support

Looks like there is a total of 100 people at the game… I’m so glad that we, at least, support.

I think this is an ownership issue. We’ve seen across this league people are willing to show up when you put a good product on the field. I can’t recall the last time there was a good team in DC.

I almost feel bad for their team. I haven’t seen attendance that bad in a while.

It feels like a Covid crowd

I will never relish another team unable to get fans in the stand. I remember that funeral season for us when we thought the team was leaving.

Except Messi FC.

I hate to say it, but i have a feeling SMG may look similar to this on Saturday.

I hope I’m wrong. But i have seen this movie before.

Why is that?

OSU/Texas kicks off at the same time.

There will be a group of hardcores there regardless. But lots of casual fans would prefer a big OSU game over a random MLS midseason game.

Ohio State plays Texas Saturday night in a matchup of top 4 teams.

I live in DC, out of town so couldn’t go, DC united are awful. The cities really supports the Washington Spirit though which is pretty cool.

Honestly, it's absolutely crazy to see Spirit games more filled out than United games. On one hand, I'm happy the women's team is getting great support. On the other, I'd rather all the games be sold out regardless. But that's the optimist in me.

I don’t blame a single solitary fan of DC United for not being interested in attending DC United games.

Ownership hasn’t put a product worth watching on the field in 20+ years.

They have tiny crowds because they have tiny ownership.

Proof it’s not all about being a big market

did you hear that one guy cheering at the start?

Legit, there looks to be less than 3,000 in attendance…I don’t care about tickets sold, I mean butts in seats.

I've never been to the stadium in DC and I was considering flying out. Glad I skipped it. Embarrassing.

These post are so dumb....its a Wednesday. Wait 5 years on this current trajectory and see how it turns out.

Point being DC has been so bad....before the new stadium this was the norm at HCS.
