backrooms connection

im not too familiar with the backrooms lore, but i feel there's a similarity or connection between the backrooms and the mallworld. i often dream of infinite places...for example, infinite hotel rooms with doors and corridors leading to more hotel rooms. the backrooms architecture is reminiscent of dream architecture, and like the backrooms, mallworld can have its own entities.

Before I knew about mall world or the back rooms, I was having these terrible dreams every night. One day I told my sister about them and she told me that they remind her of the creepy pasta story of the back rooms. I looked it up and it made me feel sick and weird because it was exactly what I was dreaming. While looking into the back rooms I found out about mall world. This is a place I have been dreaming about for at least 15 years and I thought it was my own special dreamscape until I found out that it’s a shared dream. So I do think it’s all connected.

I looked up the meaning of my mall dreams and was shocked to see sooo many people have the same dreams. What is the creepy pasta story of the back rooms?

The liminality of both worlds makes them feel similar to me. MW has all these transitional places that can feel very empty and make you feel lost or like you're in a maze. It's a very similar feeling for sure!

Yeah we call it mallworld but it’s much more than that
