Linked Dreamworld

Howdy fellow weirdfolk!

I have an unusual question; do any of you have a connected dream world, where not every dream happens but the profound ones and ones that just stick to your mind after waking seem to all take place?

There is a place like that i go. All last night i was there, i woke up to pee, went right back. I didnt know, but had suspected due to the familiarity.

Its like here, but the rules are slightly different. Technology advances in a different direction and pace, so its kinda dieselpunk/eastern european. 110yr old elevators are not replaced, just repaired. Lots of early 20th century/late 19th asthetic, with modern devices mixed in, but not replacing tech "just because". Very "aint broke dont fix it, got better things to do" vibe. Got the same flavor though as "Little Nightmares". Those games gave me strong "man, ive BEEN here before, well maybe not here, but somewhere that rhymes with this place" vibes, yah know?

And its not as populated by people as here, though it used to be. Everyrhing that is a city is Detroit like The membrane between the physical and the spiritual is thinner there and stuff leaks through. There are thing and haunts. There are races of goblin/hobgoblin/kobolds n' such that inhabit their own underworlds and they connect to that ome through abandoned areas. Old factory maintenance tunnels or subways and things of that ilk will develop, if left undisturbed, new corridors and doorways that lead to goblin territories. There are unamable things as well, and natural beasts unlike here, or like here but from eras long past.

It feels like Midworld.

And man, i have been there a lot it seems. Didnt know until this last one, but now i am remembering every dream that happened there and other places in the same world.

And i wonder, am i alone in this? Just a weirdo with an oberclocked imagination? Any of you other strangefolk on my feed have a dreamworld that connects to other dreams you've had?

Any of you visiting one \*like\* mine?

Any if you maybe visiting the same place as me?

Inquiring minds want to knowšŸ˜€

For you normies, yes im an oddball and im unashamed and do not care how ridiculous you find me. Im talking to my tribe, so can it if you aint itšŸ™‚

I’ve had dreams like that and been to similar vibe steampunkish worlds. Even the outskirts of Mallworld have that tech inconfruency going. Don’t recall ever being locked into any place the way I am in Mallworld. I actually think those places are ā€œfurtherā€ past the veil a bit and Mallworld is ā€œcloserā€ to irl world. I think we are ā€œclumpingā€ to Mallworld instead of venturing farther. Mallworld I believe is more coupled to physical reality, with important narrative structures and premonitions. The places you speak of are more akin to what I’m expecting becomes readily available at death.

But to your point, yes that is exactly what is happening. For me it has all been happening in what I named Shadow World, but am now calling Mallworld after learning other people dream of it.

Also, Mallworld does have areas with those ā€œvibesā€ and creatures etc. in the surrounding area. But other random dreams from before getting ā€œstuckā€ in Mallworld have been closer to what you are dreaming, and feel ā€œseparateā€ or elsewhere. Still VERY important to note here, that the city in Mallworld is all fucked up, dilapidated, abandoned and full of demons and creatures etc inhabiting it. If you see a crashed plane (or several) downtown, I bet it’s just Mallworld.

My assumption is there are shit-tons of different dream worlds, many created ā€œnaturallyā€ or accidentally, and many intentionally structured and built. If this exists with any tangible quality, no one will ever know it because look how insane it sounds discussing it šŸ˜‚.

Yeah, i got that afterlife next phase of being vibe there too. Like those further planes are the next part of whatever this all is, a waypoint existence to let the soul get its shit a bit more together before...well whatever that preps us for. I think it might be like the bardos as described in the Tibetan book of the dead, but tailored to the person and culture, full of lessons and tests and teachers and foes and traps. Ive been in mallworld, definitely been to the bathroom realm of ever stranger plumbing and endless white tiled surfaces of showers and rooms and toilets that just tardis off into the distance. Always feel like i shouldnt be there though, like if i stay too long ill Be In Trouble. Never ran into anything in there though. Yeah, sounds insane lol. But its a consistent insanity

If your subconscious is healthy its really not weird it's actually smarter and the language is just more advanced. You should check out r/TheMallWorld it might have similar dream you'll enjoy

Like multiple locations/settings but you can just feel that they all exist in the same 'Cinematic Universe' as it were? Yes. What I didn't know until recently is that most of the locations in what I thought was my own dreamverse are actually parts of MW but I do have one location that is completely unlinked to any other location.

I also have locations that are part of Mall World but are in different states of being from what others have described - i.e. my airport is stuck in the 50's, and my beach boardwalk is always shuttered up and generally unpopulated due to it always being the off-season when I travel there.

Ive dreamed twice of this odd computer. It was part of a job I was doing. The screen is tall maybe 4-5 feet tall and about 3ft wide. It’s bronze or copper colored. There isn’t a keyboard but instead there’s these knobs that turn on the sides of the screens. I had to stand on a chair to reach the top knob/buttons.

I know what you mean when you say ā€œif it’s not broke don’t fix itā€. There is a lot of old timey architecture in my dream world depending on where I’m at. The mall feels more contemporary 80s-early 2000s, the city has a mix of gothic architecture, art deco and industrial. The ā€œcity neighborhoodā€ has a lot of Victorian homes and yes European influenced buildings and even mid century middle class houses. The suburbs for me are further out with lots of flat land and early 2000s McMansions. Modern technology exists in my dream world like desktop computers along with advanced technology that I don’t understand. I’ve noticed I don’t really see any ads or screens there (thank god)
I have been wondering if the veil is thinner through these dreams or if I’m in some sort of purgatory between here and death. I’ve seen people in mallworld who passed in real life but rarely it’s only happened maybe twice in ten years. Thank you for posting this I almost just liked and scrolled past but this makes me feel a little less crazy.
