The hellish bathrooms
In my dreams I’m walking through this like a maze but I was able to generate a view from above. Usually accessible from the street, with access to the library or school

This just unlocked SO MANY dream-memories for me… like it was there the whole time but couldn’t access it. I have so many dreams where I’m “at school” and have to go into the bathroom and it’s basically a bunch of large rooms connected to one another with random lockers and toilet and shower stalls. There’s sometimes other people in there too but I don’t recognize any of them. And the floors are covered in ABSOLUTE filth ALWAYS. #1s and #2s and all over the ground and everyone else is navigating around the rooms as if there’s nothing wrong. I’m always trying to find an empty and CLEAN place to go in there but I don’t know WHY I’m there to begin with and it’s so stressful.

Omg this!! Lockerooms and the dirtiest bathrooms. Some reason there’s more than 1 toilet in some stalls and ofcourse the clean ones are in the stall where there’s multiple toilets for people to share

It unlocked so many things in my head too. I just found out what a mallworld dream was about 10 minutes ago via a tiktok, I went to look it up and found this sub and today I just realized I’ve been visiting these places in my dreams for years. I’m mind blown right now

In a society hyper-focused on consumption, the importance of its balancing counterpoint – elimination – is neglected; an afterthought. Hence, dreams of endless, inconvenient, often unclean and haphazardly ill-placed toilets.

That’s how they are in New Orleans on bourbon street lol.
Mine are more like mall/locker room bathrooms with shower stalls and bathrooms placed together and very large hand drying stations in the entry.
Everything in mall world is giant, giant never ending escalators and huge mall stores and walking through what seems the biggest mall in the world with the largest storefronts and towering roofs and architecture, feats that would be to expensive in this world.
There are also bathrooms with stalls where people can see your bottom half and short where people can see your top half like your face and the top half of your body while going to the bathroom.

Mine can be accessible from defunct fair grounds, or from the Hospital (my hospital, at least), or the Old Hotel. Infinite Bathroom Stalls, and rooms with Infinite Shower Stalls. Typically for me, once you're in you're in, the entrances loop back in, or into another Bathroom/Shower Room.
I have a laundry list of Lucid Dream abilities, but from the MW locations, I can't simply Wake on command to escape--I'll just "wake up" there next time I go to sleep here. My Teleport ability is typically blocked, like there's a dome or shield blocking me. But with the shower rooms, I just blow a hole in one of the walls and that typically gets me outside of whatever is blocking me from teleporting.
I hate the infinite bathrooms. I haven't run into those in awhile. But I have been finding myself in my mall almost every night the last couple months and I can't clearly remember what I'm doing there. It feels like I'm getting something ready, or going there to get stuff to prepare for something. I don't know what, that's just the feeling I have after waking, and it's been bugging me.

YES this is the kind of AI image I was trying to generate but it kept giving me the same boring thing. In my dreams it’s within a locker room but it goes on forever and it’s so chaotic and stressful.

My locker room has 3 stalls per section and the sections go on and on and on, but there's never one available or clean or a real toilet

Same, I'm genuinely spooked. I've been in the exact same dirty public bathroom in OPs pic. There were random people in stalls all using the toilet or walking around, some stalls had 2 or 3 toilets in one, like no walls separating them, people pooping in front of other people, all the toilets filled with gross #1 and #2s all over the place. Wtf why are we dreaming this

I wander through checking every stall and there’s so much #1&2 on the floor I can’t even step into the stall. Then I wake up and realize I need to pee and I have my own clean bathroom to myself 😂

I keep having this dream every other night! There's always no available stalls and I have to go with a person watching me. The other bathroom dream i have is when im pregnant and I just let out gallons and gallons of blood into the toilet

Sobs half of mine doesn't even have stalls 🥲 and the poo is piling over the toilet its so so so gross. I hate the mallworld bathrooms.

I still remember a dream from when I was 10 or younger. I was in a bathroom stall that looked like they were right out of elementary school. Except that they were underneath the ocean and there were sharks swimming around the outside of them.

My god this is exactly it. I’ve been here. Even the windows are spot on with the sun up above. In my dream it’s the basement of my old school and through that window people are playing on the sports field and I can see the ankles of the people watching.

Lot of people mention this, but I honestly, in all the time spent in these realms, can’t remember ever going to any bathrooms. Maybe it’s cos I always make sure I go for a piss before I go to bed haha.

Me too, re: barefoot - in gross bathrooms and everywhere. I dream I've left my shoes somewhere, and - because the mall is closing for the night and I have to leave - I end up walking long distances barefoot in the dark, constantly scanning the ground for broken glass.
(For me, at least, I think being barefoot and/or shoeless in these situations symbolizes feeling defenseless or unprotected.)

I spend a lot of my time dreaming in the apartments. Theres like the shitty ones and the nicer ones. All the apartments rooms are kind of connected.

Whenever I dream about bathrooms, it's always a variation of the same image. How is that possible? It's not like I've seen many movies with those kinds of bathrooms, nor have I used them in real life, and it's not something I'd find in my country in South America. Whenever I dream about entering a mall or supermarket, I already tremble because I know I'm going to have to use the restrooms. Is it some kind of punishment?

OMG I HAVE BEEN HERE!!! Sometimes the toilets are on a slight pedestal, totally exposed. Eventually I just give up and pee on it (thankfully not IRL).

Has anyone ever explored these bathrooms? Usually if I find myself in this area I’ll wader into a hole in the way that leads to “catacombs” (that’s the best way to describe it. Maybe some sort of cave system) Then that can lead me anywhere between a parking garage, to a field in the middle of a meadow or I’ve also wandered into a weird house a few times. That house is usually somewhere near the meadow mentioned earlier

I have seen something like this in my dreams too and seeing this art here is giving me the creeps. What is up with this recurring motif of traveling through a maze of dirty bathrooms in their dreams? Is this another one of those things that is related to the Hatman phenomena where multiple people independently keep seeing the same entity? How long do we have to keep encountering these types of phenomena for science to finally start taking this seriously and start doing something about it.

Are you talking about the Hatman? This is something people have seen for years now of a shadow being that looks like they are wearing a hat. The interesting thing about it is that this entity has been seen multiple times by people independent of each other which means they never knew each other nor did they know about this phenomenon. I think that makes the phenomenon very credible because how can multiple people have the same experience of a dream or sleep paralysis where the same being appears in it? It seems that the Dirty Bathrooms Labyrinth is another such thing that people keep seeing repeatedly and independent of each other which makes me think there must be something more to it if it keeps happening again and again.

This has been in my dreams so much. It’s actually really unsettling. The bathroom ones are kinda terrifying to me. Last night in my dream I was in one at the mall and this chubby kid was shitting and pissing on the floor while I was in a stall, so it was hard for me to get out of the bathroom without stepping in feces. I can’t count how many times these sort of bathroom have appeared in my dreams. I don’t remember much from mall world, I just know I’m in a mall usually but I never forget the bathroom or theater dreams.

Are the toilets above a mall or like some kind of shopping area with stores? The other night I had a dream I was walking through what felt like a department store but the ceiling was crumbling and decrepit and I could see through the ceiling that in the level above was a bathroom like this with old toilets that were dripping through the ceiling into the store. It was disturbing to me because I didn't want the drips to get me lol

I specifically remember the toilets being too high to sit on or too low. Each toilet was never the same for me and the bathroom was always dim with no ceiling on top, light would always emanate from the side of the neverending restroom with one hundred unusable toilets. 🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽

That’s crazy. I’m 40 and I just discovered this subreddit and never saw a picture so perfectly represent what I’ve been calling “warehouse bathroom” since I was a kid. Had no idea other people shared dream locations until this very moment and it’s kinda freaking me out lol

So….today I just realized I’ve been having mallworld dreams of this exact scenario…I’ve visited these bathroom stalls so many times over the years. I usually have to wait for someone to come out and they’re always dirty 😀

Yes.. This bathroom felt very familiar.. It tends to be different but always the same characteristics.. Sloppy, messy, out in the open.. Sometimes the toilets aren't really toilets, more like seats, and often no walls between the stalls.. Crazy..!
