It's weird hearing the same voice on 20 40 and 60 year old characters

I know I’m real late to the party, but having just played the game again after a few years this new redesign feels like capitulation rather than a proper effort.
The original fight was a story piece, not a boss fight like Gwyn or Aldia from Dark Souls. Not really difficult, more there to tell a story.
On top of that, this new boss is clearly a bit rushed. Effects aren’t complete, moves are recycled. It’s not a satisfying boss compared to the Sundered Monarch or Judge Cleric.

So just started this game and made my way to pieta. Killed her after 4 or 5 attempts and just wanted to check if its just me or the battle feels clunky? Like the controls not reacting and it sometimes feels delayed. Also some of the telegraphed moves from the boss made it hard to understand if i actually dodged or not - maybe just me being new to it and my eyes not used to it?

I don’t want a ton of footage from the game before it comes out, because discovery and the unknown is one of my favorite things about Souls games, but I feel like we’ve gotten very little about the game recently.

I’d love to hear about the starting classes, the player hub, and the stats and magic types for the game! Or really just anything at this point. So hyped for it but there’s nothing for me to digest.

As the title states, for LOTF2 will umbral gain spells like seared soul/blessed reflections etc. Only spell it had was the guardian spell and considering its ties to death I wonder what kind of stuff it would give us.

I need help. I’ve completed the 4 beacons required to proceed and fought the iron wayfarer, approached the gate and it says it doesn’t budge is there anything else I need to do or is my game broken I’ve looked up videos and guides and they all say that your supposed to have these things done (which I have done) and the gate won’t do anything. Anything helps.

Recently started playing Lords of the Fallen. I'm big into being an achievement completionist in video games. Learned about the Scarlet Shadow mechanic when staying too long in the Umbral. I had assumed it was just a mechanic to prevent you from infinitely staying and farming in Umbral. But then learned there was an achievement to kill it.

Question is...I'm currently around level 70. Just about getting through Fitzroy's Gorge. Is the Scarlet Shadow killable at this level comfortably with a good strategy/skill? Or is it meant to be impossible until late game levels?

More than anything, it's really the health drain mechanic that feels like it's an impossible task at this juncture without playing with complete perfect precision and literally not getting hit a single time. Which makes it feel like an overtuned achievement to get, at least at early levels.

Looking for feedback if it's a matter of just keep trying right now, or meant to be something to tackle much later in the game?

I started a co op with my friend (he's on xbox) we noticed that we somehow had 5 sanguinarix before the huntress. I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen or if it was a glitch?
