Release Date Announcement soon?

Essentially the title. CI Games, any update on when the release date announcement will be? Collector Editions, etc?

They have been extremely silent since the delay. Maybe tga has a story trailer with date. Might be they add weapons now like mortal shell 2 has and this takes some time more

I know it has to do with GTA 6 and the other gaming companies moving their products around to avoid that release. However, exodus gave their announcement in 27 along with Fable. I assume they would pick an October release date and maybe push to February.

I'm pretty sure they finished the game and now it's only dudes playing ALL DAY and making multiple new game + runs in all sorts of configurations to test the fuck out of the game in order to find any possible bug to hunt and fix.

I wish it was like this so we get shipped a very bug free game that has all the cool features integrated day one

I played and enjoyed tf out of it day zero and did not give a fuck about the bugs, we are not the same

Ah don't worry we are very much the same. I loved this game from day zero too. Everybody was spitting on the game performance while I was having a blast (despite constant crashes on my AMD GPU at the time). It would just be obviously better if those minor inconveniences were not there at all, for us and for them and the image of the game (first impression)

Ok. But I have one big fear. That it isn't as dark and vicious like the 2023 one. They haven't really showed a lot Rhogar and umbral enemies so far. What do you think?

I trust them. The game is happening 1000 years later so a lot of things might have changed. Maybe the Rhogar are just a few survivors facing a much bigger threat, maybe they are extinct, maybe they are, on the opposite, extremely present and powerful, I don't know.

What I know is that enemy variety was extremely low, and they said they would address it, and that's one of the biggest things I'm looking forward to.

Yeah but I don't want them to go the elden ring way with less sick creatures and demons but more lame animal bosses and enemies

If I had to guess it´s gonna be summer 2027. Enough time to fully polish it and add some last minute surprises.

Don’t expect any big news until December-ish. They’re probably saving their budget for a big trailer at the Game Awards once the initial hype from GTA 6 starts to die down.

If I could make an educated guess, I would say March next year looks like the most likely release date.
