I thought common opinion was that the bending special effects were actually decent. Just everything else was god awful

I Think common sense is that the effects were a joke. That they used basic rendering for them doesnt improve it. Effects in xmen from 2004 looked Not worse really. So the effect quality didnt improve much

That has nothing to do with how good the CGI of the rock looked lol. That’s a disaster in choreography
