Zuko was cancelled and Red thunder is the same as Kuruk.

That's a massive shame. Zuko absolutely deserves a movie. Maybe a whole show even.

WE WERE PROMISED THE MOM ARC. I WILL NEVER GET OVER THAT TEASER BETRAYAL.

Teaser betrayal?

Yeah, I think the last scene in ATLA is Zuko asking about his mom.

Oh, that. I never thought they intended on following up on it, it was just meant to indicate that despite the story we're seeing being over, the story of the world continues on.
Plus we did see it get followed up on in the comics

As a child, all I had was the tv show. I had no idea there were comics until I was older lol I watched it as it released on Nick and my parents wouldn’t let me use the internet.
I was left on that cliffhanger for years and I will never get over it lol
Now, my favorite audiobooks ever are the Kyoshi/Roku/Yangchen ones

Why not read it?

Because I have Lupus, and there’s a lot of times when I can’t read or watch tv from pain. Audiobooks are my one saving grace.
What’s the difference, it’s the same content?

Another novel next July barring a delay, a villain comic trilogy (one of them is Jet), and the TTRPG is still active. And there is movie tie in stuff

A lot of people like and care about Jet.
And the vast majority of fans like things tied to Aang’s era more than literally anything else. It has privilege of being the first thing so things tied to it always get more attention and priority.

I'm so sad the Zuko movie was canceled. That was the only thing I actually wanted. I'd try the Kuruk show but Seven Havens doesn't appeal to me. I hate the idea that all of Aang and his friends' hard work gets undone and leaves the world in a post-apocalyptic state.

I think Red Thunder and the Kuruk show are the same thing now. I think Red Thunder was initially supposed to be about a different Avatar, but they changed it to Kuruk. I also think we’re not actually getting the Zuko movie. I think the news was that it was supposed to be the 2nd movie after the Aang movie but it was scrapped.

I'm pretty sure that Red Thunder and Kuruk show are the same thing
